If we're really interested in shankland then surely we would have offered him a pre contract first then once signed offer hearts some money to sign now as after all that's what we have done for years.

Cant offer a pre contract until he has 6 month left on his deal, if we are interested then its almost a cert that a wage structure will have been agreed via agents etc, just waiting on hearts permission to official present contract etc.
