So looking at potential opponents in CL 3rd round I'd want to avoid Monaco.

I agree Monaco is the strongest and therefore I’d like to miss them. We have beaten better than them last season. If we could get a couple of first team players in then I think we’ll beat (or at least give a damn good go) to anybody in our way.

Anyone but Monaco, although think we could beat anyone on our day. Actually bring on midgyland and do something that mhanky mhob couldn't do!

Some of these teams will have more games under their belt, so we need to be up and running immediately, this is where we've been caught out before, that's why I feel we really need our signing targets in place for these games.

Irv given teams we can play all leagues start much same time. Not like Malmö who were twelve games in.
Midylland could play two league games and two cup ties in Europe, rest one league game, b4 we start.
We will have played three league games b4 first tie I reckon.

The Norwegian side that thrashed celtic hadn't played in 4 months. If the team is prepared properly it shouldn't be a problem. We weren't prepared for the Malmo game last season and ultimately went out.
