I realise it's not always straightforward negotiating with players and their agents, but surely as far as the club is concerned, once Aribo, Alf etc walk through the doors today, they should be told they have one week to accept an extension. Any delay can only benefit the players.
Make an offer, anything other than yes, put the for sale signs up.

What’s in that approach for Rangers? Do you not think the knock on effective to the rest of the squad could be detrimental? We could be creating a very poor environment for the squad before the season has even started? People might be reluctant to sign if we’re not going to honour our joint contract? I do get the angle your coming from but taking this stances would be suicidal and will not get the desired outcome. If anything potential suitors would starting offering a lot less money if the player if unhappy.

At least we'd know where we stand. I'm convinced the lack of activity is down to gio not knowing plans of those 3.

that absolutely won’t happen, not a chance,

they’re reps will be told the current state of play, and if they are lucky they might be invited to speak with the manager about his team plans, but they won’t be given an ultimatum, not yet anyway.
