There is no doubt in my mind now we have regressed under GVB. Gerrard and Beale gave GVB a team of players that were well practised in the way they play with good Euro experience, GVB tweaked it and got us to the Euro final. But for me he only gets 5% of the credit 20% for Gerrard and Beale and the 75% to the players, if you get my gist. Now with a clean slate over the summer with his team, his pre season, his way of playing, his staff we have went backward by 3 years in the space of a few months. This is not a blip and not acceptable at this club. Our recruitment has been poor, our injury rate is terrible and the way we paly boring. Our players have not improved in fact most have got worse. Gerrard breathed life into our club and GVB has sucked it right back out again. Ok if we can't afford to move GVB on then get rid of his entire back room team and get KT as assistant manager, the most successful folks in life are the ones who know when to put the hand up and ask for help.

100%. I think the team getting to the Europa final was the residual affect of what the previous management team had instilled in the players. I think if Gerrard was still there we probably could have gotten to the final as well.

You can’t possibly say the manager gets 5% credit for getting us to a European final and the previous manager who almost had us knocked out the competition gets 20% ??.

The point about the percentage was not literal but more to show that I don't give GVB the full credit for getting to the Euro final.

is regression a squad full of injuries? didn't we PROGRESS in the europa league last season? modern football fans are clueless, why do you think the celtic were tossing fences at buses? you read what you do on social media and you blow everything out of proportion, I don't believe any previous rangers manager would have a successful time given our injury record, we have an injury record because we had a deep europa league run last season and intense schedule before the world cup, accept that, the person in charge leads to the same outcome regardless of who it is, you'll take your chance on the unknown and before you know it Celtic have 56 before we do.

When - i'm not on social media, i'm over 50 and not a modern fan. I don't blow anything out of proportion we are 9 points behind in Nov having played only 15 games. Having a Europa league run has nothing to do with our injuries, None of the players below were in the Europa late run as you call it.
Souter, Morelos, Haji, Lawrence, Helander, Yilmaz, Colak, Davies, Roofe, Lowery.

Celtic tossing fences a buses got Lennon sacked and they seem to have a good manager that has brought his own style and players that the fans enjoy and seem to work for them. I agree they will get 56 before us if we don't sort it.

No trying to get into an argument here but look at the facts I've laid out.

Were out of Europe for the first time in a good few years with the worst record in history, Weve lost the league in Nov, we have 10 and counting first team players out injured. We have no centre halfs but let go Balogun, Edmuson and Katic and extended some out of date palyers contacts.

Im normally blue specked but I've had enough we should be destroying all SPL opponents apart from Celtic with our resources. i'm not saying go out and blow our cash on players not at all but something need to change,

Gerrard was under severe pressure before the league was called early, then went on to stop 10 in a row and have an undefeated league season, how about some patience for a change rather than this reactionary nonsense that can easily be explained by the injury record, nobody does a better job, we don't have a better option, if you believe you have a better option its HOPE based not factual, we're guessing it will be better, but given the injuries i doubt anyone does anything this season, bring in pep with 14 injuries + half the fit squad returning from injury, he does nothing, accept the payment for our 70 game season, we got an amazing europa league run out of it and now we're paying for it.
