I said it at start of the campaign with regards to a new team, that we would need to suffer and go through adversity but ultimately it would come good.

And I honestly still believe that.

Yesterday's result really hurt and psychologically this week in it's entirety was a massive blow to confidence and belief. But listen in reality it was always going to be tough going early on with such a new squad let's not forget that.

But look its no time to wilt and fold. This is where we MUST turn the corner and prove we have the metal. When the going gets tough, it's time for character and grit.

Its stand up and be counted time. The fans are doing there bit. Its down to the players and Manager now to prove to us that they have what it takes.

There's is plenty to play for and this season is still young.

I just hope with all that I am we see a refreshed and hungry Rangers after the international break. And we can lift the fans and everyone connected to club with good performances and signs of progression.

We need to see a clear gameplan and a solid starting 11 that plays week in and out, particularly in the League. Europe and Cups we can afford to use the squad and shuffle the pack but imo the League is where we must gain consistency and see it start to click. Its not over by a long shot but we must see progress and it must come now.

We will fight til the day is done.

Arcade can you show me how we can trust Beale after every single big match that he's played he's lost?

It wasn’t a new team, it was a pathetic display on so many levels.
Just like last seasons cup semi final or the league cup final or the PSV game or any other must win game since he took over 10 months ago. He has no plan no style or tactics he’s an imposter and the sooner he’s gone the better, I cannot even listen to his after match bs because we’ve heard it all before. I keep hoping to see a story from Ibrox that he has been sacked. His face and voice grate on me now to such an extent that I simply avoid anything he does.

Good post Arcade but we are not seeing any signs of a game plan and he certainly does not know his best 11, I said last week that i was willing to see the odd bad result at this stage as long as we were showing an identity and a settled team so players can get used to each other, He’s chopped and changed it when at this stage we should have been more settled looking. Also wrongly didn’t prioritise the defence, how’s that going to get better? Can you see him moving to a back five with more defensive full backs in place and potentially a good holding midfielder to protect the back line?
Sorry can’t see him making big decisions now that need to be made.
No evidence at this stage that things will improve I’m afraid, do hope your right though.

2 new signings played so the BS that it’s a new team they need time to gel yada yada yada! Beales been in since November has failed to win any meaningful game plus his recruitment is proving to be abysmal.

Great post arcade … only thing I disagree with is the fans are behind him . You and I might be but the majority of panty wetters on here? No chance.

Coming good is winning the league not a cup the league and we won’t win a league with Beale and that defence.

So was the game against Servette not a meaningful game. It at least gave us, a shot at psv even if it did go so badly.

New squad?

Yesterday's team was mostly players who were there last season, apart from sterling, Butland and dessers.

Verdant your analysis of McCoist's tenure as manager is factually 100% correct. The adulation he received rightly as a player corrupted him as a manager and made him think he could get away with anything and the fans would still love him.
Ally McCoist loves Rangers but that love his miles behind his love of Ally McCoist and his bank balance.
He was both lazy and Greedy two sins for a Rangers manager.

Im pretty sure Danilo and Lammers came off the bench, no? And Sima?

Dessers played arguably one of the most important positions as did Butland.

Whatever way you look at it, its a new squad, without the likes of Greegsy, Arfield, Kent, Morelos et al.

My point is these games were a big ask for a new squad that are still finding there way.

I just hope we can turn the corner and start getting results. Before the script is ripped up and we have another new manager with a group of players that ain't his, like the way its been since Gerrard or it sets us back years.
