Dwamena a Ghanaian playing in Albania suffered a cardiac arrest during a game yesterday.
He had previously failed a medical with Brighton and was in fact fitted with a defibrillator.
He wanted to keep playing and was the top goalscorer in Albania having ignored medical advice.
God bless him and his family

That's why imo rangers were correct to not allow naMandi ofobhor to risk playing with his heart issue.

It shows that the players health is the most important thing.

I read this earlier today, very sad news. I think it should be compulsory that you are not allowed to play professionally should a heart defect be found.

Good luck to Ofoborh and I hope he considers this a cautionary tale. Rangers looked after him not just as a player but as a human being and I really hope the young man thinks twice before ignoring medical advice. It’s a tough break for the lad but he could enjoy an alternative career within the game, perhaps as a youth coach, where he doesn’t put his life at so great a risk as he would in playing.
