Don't think we need him. maybe a winger and a centre half and the team is plenty strong enough for next season. who would be punted to free up money cause as it stands there will be no more signings.

If he is targeting new signings then I hope it is a decent CD, jig ha done well there but with cribari leaving (thank god) then I think one should come in. the rest of the team is fine (more or less) but that is one area where I think we are short. unless gasparotto (spelling?) is good to step up and play a full season there

@9 I'm not saying it justifies the situation, I am saying that an uneven split is a very normal occurrence and more is being made of this than would normally happen. after the SFA statement saying that dufc refused a larger allocation on the grounds that they wouldn't be able to sell them it just makes dufc and the chairman look a bit amateur, although he has came out and said the SFA were "economical with the truth" so in short they were lying. This could get very interesting

He was just following his chairmans lead last night imo. what did make me laugh was when he was asked about the rangers-celtic semi that was played at parkhead and all he could do was mumble about being injured. it was decided a while ago and nothing was said at the time, that was when stipulations regarding semi final and final venues should have been put in depending on who was playing. ie rangers in semi then it is played away from ibrox or celtic in the final (stop sniggering back there!) it is played away from parkhead. regarding ticket split then I believe that the wigan-arsenal game is 22k wigan and 42k arsenal due to the much higher ST sales that one team has, this is standard practice pretty much across the football world so why is it only a big deal this time?

I think the players will look better next season, my thinking is that they will raise themselves against stronger opposition and not take a win for granted (imo that's what has happened lately) and there will be less "vigorous" tackles going in so they can have more time to play. As it stands though onwards and upwards still unbeaten and hopefully some of the youngsters will get a game now the league is wrapped up.
