That’s the keeper that Roofe lobbed from the half way line. I don’t know what was more embarrassing that or the sight of him stretching the cramp out of his leg while he was lying on the deck. Yes a goalkeeper suffering from cramp. ?.

Spoken to a few of my Aberdeen supporting friends and work colleagues and most of them say we’re welcome to Barron as they don’t think he’s good enough for Rangers. They weren’t saying that about Jack or even Wright so I think that maybe tells its own story.

Scott Carson is Man City 3rd keeper. He wasn’t good enough at his peak never mind now but he ticks the box for European squad registration and he’s an experienced keeper to call on in disaster circumstances. That’s how it works these days.
Nobody is saying we would be signing Kelly to be first pick and possibly not even 2nd (assuming McCrorie stays) .

Ridvan wasn’t in the squad anyway so wouldn’t need to be replaced. 3 swaps are possible but we have Jack, Lawrence, Roofe and Danilo all out injured so will likely replace any of these three.
I may be wrong but as we are short on homegrown players I believe we could add them without it being classed as a change ie McKenna, Barron, Shankland would not be part of the three changes as they would supplement the homegrown players we have.

He’s obviously going through some personal issues just now that are probably affecting performances. I know fans like to think footballers are like robots but family worries will affect them just as much as it does us.
I’m sure he’ll be back firing on all cylinders soon and Clement will handle him well.

Need as many attacking options available so his return would be most welcome. Would be great to see him get a run of games but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s softly softly with him for the first few games.
