For the Davies and Cantwell rumour. Does anyone have any idea of what the fee would be? I know they're out of contract in the summer so we could sign them for free but then they wouldn't arrive til the summer. The best way to bargain in my opinion would be have them sign a pre-contract and then go to the respective clubs regarding fee with them knowing we'll take them for free anyway similar to what we did with Kamara. Would be good to get them in now (if they're coming) but if the fee is high then there isn't much point in rushing for me and we should just wait it out like what happened with Souttar.

Being told that todd cantwell has at achenhowie this morning as has agreed terms nothing been said about Tom Davies and josh onomah would prefer Tom Davies.

I'm of a different opinion of yours StephenRfc1872,as i think todd cantwell is the way more talented midfielder of the 3 and he would be my preference in front of both davies and onomah ? That's not to say i don't rate or like tom davies because i do but being perfectly honest, i don't know much about onomah ? If we do sign cantwell and beale can re-ignite this guys career what an extremely talented footballer he is ? Remember big clubs a couple of years ago were close to paying £30million for cantwell ?I'm more excited about him than the other two ?.

I wonder where Beale will play Cantwell, in that Kamara role have him drifting out wide as I mostly see him as Left winger I hope. We could get away with him playing CM in the league but not Europe.

I'm unsure about who would be the best between Cantwell (very talented) and Davies both good players 100% straight in our team. New gk but Mcgregor Tavernier Goldson Davies Yilmaz Lundstram Davies Cantwell Tillman Kent Morelos and a very strong bench. Mcgregor Tavernier King Sands Barasic Lundstram Arfield Tillman Wright Kent Colak big difference in they teams.

My understanding is that cantwell is an CAM. If we are bringing him in, does this mean The Club are looking at long term options instead of Tillman? With Cantwell available for free in the summer, or for a small fee now, and with Tillmans fee being muted at around 6mil to make it permanent, could this be the club being shrewd in the market?

@shooting. Feel its more likely that Cantwell will be a replacement for Kent, Matondo doesn't seem to have paid off from reading off those in the know.

Really like tilman he's a diffrent class i know 5 million is a lot of money for us but we will easily double that on him also, look at kent n what we paid for him n how great he's been for us, tilman will be as good, if not better plus also give us agood return, you need too somtimes spend a bit more too get the class.

Tillman will be number 1 on Beales wishlist the way he talks about him. Maybe Cantwell will play on the right of the front 3 and float/ switch with Kent. Beales forwards seem to have free range to move into different areas which is what is needed against packed defences.
