Not my normal source but was told last night from an ex player that Rangers are very interested in Swansea cb Nathan Wood.

Beale about for 56

1.) 26 Sep 2023 10:08:32
Do we let beale buy any more players? Either get a dof in or they already have identified one and have his recommendations.

2.) 26 Sep 2023 10:35:47
Beale56. We r extensively scouting cbs for next two windows, many England under 21 experience

Imo some already way out our price range.
I’m told at least three off back four will be replaced, yilmas is one who may stay.

Beale told board that we extensively needed to upgrade forwards, goalscorers this summer, then concentrate on defence who he believed we would get another year out of

I don’t think we r seeing an upgrade on forwards,

3.) 26 Sep 2023 11:12:18
John done a bit of digging about wood this morning out of contact 2024,i believed we had improved our forwards but am not seeing it just now, we certainly haven't replaced the quality morelos had.

4.) 26 Sep 2023 11:22:30
Tbf to Beale I thought defensively all we needed was someone to partner Conor til next summer. We now have that in Davies who’s been outstanding since he came back in.
The clean sheets are stacking up since he came back in.
I’d like to mutually terminate balogun if he would accept this and bring a short term deal in January as back up.
He’s had few injuries since he came back already and Souttar can’t be relied upon.

5.) 26 Sep 2023 11:36:42
Beale I do think Danilo will become that man

Stevie why bring in a short term for Balogun, let’s develop yefeko.

6.) 26 Sep 2023 12:01:58
Got to agree. I think Danilo will come good but the rest are confusing and are low grade. On the other note just keep Balogun.

7.) 26 Sep 2023 12:17:06
Ye know what John fair enough I agree with that one.
I totally forgot about yfeko.
I agree mate yfeko should be back up to Davies ??.

8.) 26 sep 2023 12:19:23
i said all through the window we had a ch lined up for jan john, i stand by that.

9.) 26 Sep 2023 12:38:51
I’m told it’s a bosman, who we sign then will bring in early.

10.) 26 Sep 2023 12:42:54
We`re going to trust Beale replace of Tavernier, Goldson, Davies and Barisic and keep the worst defender on the books Yilmaz. Jeez that sounds like a Baldrick plan. After all he`s done such a stellar job of replacing Morelos, Kent, Colak, Sakala, Arfield and Tillman and increasing the goals in our team . Again, they all went and he kept the least productive forward at the club, Matondo . Beale is an imposter and should be gone long before he has to make anymore decisions regarding players and decimating the playing staff even further.

11.) 26 Sep 2023 13:09:10
wslgers Yilmaz has far more quality as a footballer than you clearly think.

12.) 26 Sep 2023 13:44:49
Don’t think Davies will be going anywhere
Looks like he’s came good.
He’ll be centre back next season.

13.) 26 Sep 2023 13:45:31
Wsl imo opinion yilmaz best defender we have however appreciate you view

Morelos kent Tillman Colak Arfield all chose to leave in the summertime, sakala was also told would not get minutes.

14.) 26 Sep 2023 14:06:44
Stevie, yes he’s come good, but he is another one we gave permission to speak to other clubs,
Same as wright. Sakala Jack

End off day to win silver we need better than we have all over.

15.) 26 Sep 2023 15:05:43
But you said they (signings) were all quality Beale ?.

16.) 26 Sep 2023 15:07:31
Nobody really knows with yilmaz as he's not had a long run in the team

Can't judge a defender over 1 or 2 games

Defenders that are good are reliable and consistent over a longer period of time.

17.) 26 Sep 2023 15:22:46
I don’t see why we would have given Jack a 12 month contract if we were willing to let him speak to other clubs?
He was legally entitled to from Jan 1 as he entered into last 6 months as club decided if he would be given a new deal but would imagine once that decision was made we would retain him that he would not be considered for sale.

18.) 26 Sep 2023 15:46:33
gofer remind me who I said was quality i'm hearing this from you regular, just more nonsense from you, i'm sure I said butland cifu dowell was quality, and was really impressed with what dessert done for feye, and the Same with sima ripping our team apart, never mentioned Sterling danio.

19.) 26 Sep 2023 16:06:57
Can't believe we replaced Fashion with Sima. Wouldn't trust Beale with another transfer window. This one has been the worst in living memory.

20.) 26 Sep 2023 17:37:59
Beale I hate to admit it but you did rave about all our signings.

John don’t tell gofor we are going to get a player on a Bosman and pay for him early he will have a canary about that ?.

21.) 26 Sep 2023 17:55:22
Don't tell anyone because it's a big secret, but rangers interested in cooper of Millwall. for the 14th transfer window in a row.

22.) 26 Sep 2023 18:16:30
Storm i never seen sterling danilo.

23.) 26 Sep 2023 19:50:23
Sorry gooner, Jack is a mistake by me.

24.) 26 Sep 2023 21:02:34
Beale you said dessers was quality and that they could all play various positions. based on what we have seen Cifu dowell dessers sima are far from the standard we need. Danilo and butland look to be the only signings to add something to our team. I wouldn't trust beale with another penny either.

25.) 27 Sep 2023 03:47:12
Cifuentes is top ckass gers, you clearly give them zero time like others on here, not for me ok.

26.) 27 Sep 2023 03:50:45
Gers Dowell has done well in only a few games he's certainly never done anything that doesn't say he is not quality, can't they play in different positions like?

27.) 27 Sep 2023 07:24:10
Beale I had a wee idea the other day when name my team for tonight, I thought playing cifuentes in the 10 role may help settle him in. He’s good for a goal from distance, and has quick feet so can link up well with 1-2s and triangle passing. You’re an ex player mate do u think that could suit him and help him settle in before dropping back a bit into an 8/ 6? Take him out the engine room til he’s settled.

28.) 27 Sep 2023 10:29:24
Stevie Cifuentes can play dcm cm cam but I'd play him in his best position that's a number six for me hopefully he settles down very fast now, but would certainly not look out of place at cam tonight mate.

29.) 27 Sep 2023 12:12:36
If Jimmy taking to tribunal he must be very confident, because this stage where under legal constraint and every possible personal data will come out including annual credit and where from. If he wears green underwear this will out.

30.) 27 Sep 2023 14:13:39
Beale thanks mate, u seem to know more of the boy than any of us so your opinion interests me most z

Do u think he will 100% come good mate?

31.) 27 Sep 2023 17:34:12
Hopefully he will Stevie I've never seen him play like he has in a Rangers jersey mate, i was really impressed with him in the mls one of the BEST centre midfielders his vision is top class, very good box to box player.

32.) 29 Sep 2023 00:35:31
Has Davies came good!
Certainly looks to be playing better since he came back into the team, but still have concerns about him and Goldson against better opposition.
They were poor as a partnership against Celtic on a couple of occasions last season, Hope I’m wrong but will wait before saying he’s came good.

33.) 29 Sep 2023 19:57:03
Chose to leave ? that's laughable

Only chose to leave after it was made obvious they were not wanted

Sorry but Beale chose g the likes of matondo roofe injury prone over sakala colak

Lol storm I'm not opposed to a bosman early just need to asses if it's truly needed before we pay and my main argument about that was we need to at least say no to one club and take them for free when contract done just so clubs don't think we will always bow to Thier demands which we have done too much of recently.

34.) 29 Sep 2023 20:29:33
Lol this thread the lot of it

Was one of first to say I was really concerned by desser

Was rubbished here

Said about dowell not featuring enough at Norwich to judge him

Was rubbishd here

Said about giving Davies another go we did overpay but was form defender in lead up to his Celtic error.

Was rubbishd on here

Said about keeping colak and sakal until champions league qualifiers out the way and to see if new players fit in ok

Was rubbishd here

Said about yilmaz not been given a fair run (partly his own injury record partly Beale )

Was rubbishd here

Said about Beale choosing to go with guys that were second string players over guys that were first team starts last season

Was rubbishd here

Said about cooper making a fool of us again and wouldn't sign

Was rubbishd here

Said about paying transfer fees on players that have already signed a pre contract which has turned out to be a waste of money so far as in terms of trophies won not ability of player

Said about Danilo and his numbers being good if give the forward role we continued to shove him wide until desser was found out

On cifuentes I agree Beale65 is right I also have watched him a number of times and he was a good player in MLS his form has fallen off a cliff but also feel he is being played out of position he needs to be central his passing range is brilliant given a chance maybe he's not adjusting to gloomy Glasgow over LA lol anyone would find that tough.

Also me and Beale65 regularly defended yilmaz and even with his record injury wise the fact Beale left him out squad when he was fit and he had no back up left back says a lot about Beale not knowing his own mind also can add matondo into that wasn't in original squad for Europe and got drafted in later

Beales had Davies souttar balogun yfleko lundstrum? sterling all playing for that CB role at different points even though he already knew of most of the players last season still hadn't a clue who his best back four was.

He is starting to find the best team now but has only come about due to injuries or panic of losing his job feel if he still had everyone fit we would see the same stupid rotation and not finding any form.

Everyone seems to want to make football a difficult game and try to be to clever and over complicate things

How are players ment to get form when one week play defensive mid next centre mid then left mid then right mid lol Beale is clueless shifting players all over park and not letting them develop an understanding this is why we are seeing so many stray passes or overly safe passes?

Rant over lol

Storm be careful I'm starting to like your sense of humour ??.

23 Aug 2023 09:20:51
Told Beale with have his second meeting with Jack Cooper today.

Beale about for 56

1.) 23 Aug 2023 09:53:08
Would love us to get a flair player type like palma feel were lacking that. Matondo coming on to a game tho. Close to goal if season had that volley went in.

2.) 23 Aug 2023 10:08:01
How much you think the fee will be? Potential swap for Davies involved?

3.) 23 Aug 2023 10:09:27
Said before, that my preference would be Harry Souttar (to help the Euro squad out a bit) but I appreciate that might be unfeasible. Cooper would appear a good second choice though. While I like Souttar, I think he does his best work coming out from the back line, and we may not have conceded the second goal last night if we had a more dominant/ physical CB in.

4.) 23 Aug 2023 10:23:00
Jake Cooper is being signed for his height and ability in aerial duels, that’s it. I guess he’d be the type you’d play away to a Killie or an Aberdeen if teams are just going to play direct. Concerning signing tho, as it doesn’t actually improve our 11. He’s not a better defender than Souttar or Goldson.

Hopefully Beale is working on a winger/ inside forward to come in too. After the rebirth of Matondo, maybe, it’s a winger for the right that we need. Sima might get you the odd goal, but his all round play is very low in terms of quality.

5.) 23 Aug 2023 10:37:27
Hi all got a little info last night that cooper is main target for beale and H soutter would be option if cooper isn't a goer on loan, also an interest in an African player not sure position. i get little snippets every now and again but usually other poster beat me to an update on here.

6.) 23 Aug 2023 10:55:18
Sorry i thought it was Thursday today Tommorow he meets up.

7.) 23 Aug 2023 10:58:15
Chasni Sima is only in the door, many wrote Matondo off but now all i hear is praise.

8.) 23 Aug 2023 11:11:54
For me the emergence of Matondo means we may not need to go for a left winger, in fact I wouldn’t. Only bloating the squad and complicating selection headaches.
I’d focus on centre back and replacement for lunny. I’d still give serious thought to shankland for these scrappy domestic games and he’s a free hit in Europe as he’s homegrown.

9.) 23 Aug 2023 11:21:21
A rate soutter but he makes a mistake every game who’s to say cooper might no turn out more solid.

10.) 23 Aug 2023 11:24:06
Which is mental as souttar far better than cooper.

11.) 23 Aug 2023 11:26:36
No way anyone can blame Souttar for PSVs second goal. The attacker came right through the back of him while he was in the air.
Souttar got booked later in the game when the attacker jumped backwards into him too so no idea what the refs are calling these days. Souttar has been very good for us.

12.) 23 Aug 2023 11:40:19
Would Harry Soutter help the Euro Squad, is he not Australian?

13.) 23 Aug 2023 11:50:41
I understand that Beale56, but you can see how rough and awkward he is when he plays football. Doesn’t really have great composure. I do think he’s effective and will score goals, but personally I’m looking for an all round type of winger. One who has composure, pace, touch, flair, good in 1v1 situations and gets numbers. Dare I say it, similar to Jota, what that lot had across the city.

14.) 23 Aug 2023 11:52:04
Soutar clearly fouled at the 2nd goal VAR experts away for a biscuit .

15.) 23 Aug 2023 11:55:56
Many on here have actually seen Cooper play many times? seen him live a good few times and the men only impressed me, i believe he will be a very good signing for Rangers.

16.) 23 Aug 2023 12:29:15
I think Souttar meets home trained rule threw his time at Dundee Utd at required age and length of training years. Nationality isn’t the rule it’s time doesn’t between required age.

17.) 23 Aug 2023 12:32:14
Say it again we could’ve done worse than go for Liam Lindsay or even keep Lewis mayo for euro squad. We should have a Scottish player as back up at centre half. Goldson new player backed up by Souttar balogun and 5th choice Scot covers all problems over a season at centre half. Harry Souttar would be great on loan to buy if we can agree a smaller fee but doubt we could afford him regardless.
Liam Lindsay could definitely do a job for us. Still need a 1st choice to replace Davies though. Cooper could be good.

18.) 23 Aug 2023 12:54:37
King and Soutter stevie.

19.) 23 Aug 2023 13:01:11
Stevie, Lindsays father was at celtic so maybe he's not a Ted at heart? He also had uncles who played senior can't remember who they are or where they played.

20.) 23 Aug 2023 13:28:48
Mayo are you for real he’s no better than king.

21.) 23 Aug 2023 13:43:12
Mayo’s been great this season in the 2 games I’ve watched him mate. I’ve never once been impressed by kning. It’s all hype imo.
I’ve never watched mayo and not been impressed.

Beale of the 5 cb’s 3 would be main. So Goldson another and Souttar. Then balogun and the Scot trained would fill the squad. Keep the 3 main ones and the other 2 can fill in.

22.) 23 Aug 2023 13:55:51
The second hit of de jong shoulder. A fluke and nothing Soutar could do.

23.) 23 Aug 2023 14:26:48
Cooper gets turned far to easily, and dlesnt have a great deal of pace, he was all over the place against norwich in their most recent game, probably do a job for us but he's not a massive improvement on what we have, he is however an almost ever present and dlesnt pick up many injuries.

24.) 23 Aug 2023 14:39:26
Windy, yea, seen that in replay, loads think it was a header Definetly came off his shoulder,

25.) 23 Aug 2023 14:47:35
Wale to be fair your impressed with everyone and everyone quality

I didn't write matondo off told everyone he was better at lw than two a year ago ?.

26.) 23 Aug 2023 15:07:21
Gofor pissing myself here.

27.) 23 Aug 2023 16:04:43
A fee us Davies really?
For a guy that has been at Millwall whole time when Davies was at liverpool

We need to look further afield than England for a defender English players we sign will never be one full internationals unless the are eligible for another country and international players are where the money is.

28.) 23 Aug 2023 16:18:36
Sorry but Cooper is better than H. Soutter and anyone saying different is having themselves on. Cooper isn't just a big guy who can win the ball in the air that's literally all Harry Soutter is.

Cooper has had some of the highest progressive passing and pass rates in championship for years now whilst playing for Millwall. His biggest downside is his general pace.

I personally don't think he's better than Goldson or John but certainly more suited to our league than Davies is.

29.) 23 Aug 2023 16:33:01
King is a banker to be loaned out, it would be some time for him to be good enough if at all . Are all our scouts concentrated on the English championship or is there an agent someone trusts down there . Got to be a left sided CB somewhere in Scandinavia, Poland, Slovakia or the region generally at sensible money, players are in the lower level 2 in England for a reason @ 28 years of age especially.

30.) 23 Aug 2023 17:11:18
Is Dowell or Cifuentes not quality gofor because i definitely see both as quality midfielders.

31.) 23 Aug 2023 17:32:30
Beale gofor is a lost cause.

It was never a foul for their goal souttar is too soft.

32.) 23 Aug 2023 17:45:19
Mayo playing well in 2 games doesn’t make him good enough for us. Let’s get Kelly back from livi wile we’re at it he’s been decent for them maybe because it’s his level same with mayo.

33.) 23 Aug 2023 18:06:35
Lol Beale predictive text and Nightshift typing don't go together too tired to double check ?.

34.) 23 Aug 2023 18:10:39
Played better than 90% of our players this season raskin.
Do I need to write a transcript to get a point across. Also watched Maui last season and thought he was great for killie.
Don’t think kille would sanction the deal they did for a player If he wasn’t outstanding for them last season which he was.
Many times u watched him raskin?
Write what u want as an answer mate but I can guarantee your talking pi** as if u had watched him any number of times u wouldn’t be saying what u are.
Not a fancy name? Not worth millions? Must be crap.
Sound mate

Gofor? Are u meaning me when u said I rate everybody?

35.) 23 Aug 2023 18:15:39
Beale again why are you making up stuff that I didn't say

Did I not say several times on this site before that cifuentes was quality I admitted I hadn't see a lot of dowell but from what I've seen he's a hard worker but then still to see the skill that makes him The player you said would ripp it up in Scotland.

I then said fair play Beale he looked good the other week and applauded you on that one.

Again big enough to give you credit.

But all you want to do is snipe and try score points on things I didn't say.

36.) 23 Aug 2023 18:18:16
Pissing yourself on what point exactly Beale?

37.) 23 Aug 2023 18:19:16
Gofor a lost cause lol storm coming from the guy with no original thought ever who only snipes at others without staking anything himself

Aye! Ok ?.

38.) 23 Aug 2023 18:35:19
It’s easier for the defender’s if the team are playing with 10 men behind the ball. You’ll find out he isn’t is good when the game is more open.

39.) 23 Aug 2023 18:42:13
We will come off looking foolish in pursuit of Millwall defender again.

You also need to ask if he's really that good why is he still at milwall

All these years later why has no other upper end championship or lower English prem team took a chance on him.

40.) 23 Aug 2023 18:57:44
Just you in general gofor, sometimes you just lose me on many things.

41.) 23 Aug 2023 18:59:43
Are you asking how many time av watched killie? Other day against Celtic and against us. You never miss a killie game stevie aye champions league group stages with mayo in the heart of defence hilarious but he’s been good Kilmarnock ?.

42.) 23 Aug 2023 19:01:37
He’s no worth millions sober up Lewis mayo worth millions ?all because killie won a couple games lol are you Gordon sawyers?

43.) 23 Aug 2023 20:52:07
Dowells got a good engine, give him a little time and he will be very worthwhile.

44.) 23 Aug 2023 21:23:37
La cala. It doesn't matter of nationality it all depends on if he trained in that country for 3 years prior to 18 or 21. that's why he be classed as associated home grown player.

45.) 23 Aug 2023 21:40:30
Lol ok Beale.

46.) 23 Aug 2023 21:44:57
Raskin I’ve not said he’s worth anything mate u have misread my post.
I’ve said because he isn’t a fancy name or worth millions he can’t do a job?
He’s a better option than king and he could do a job over a season as a squad player. That’s what I’m saying.
3 main cb’s for / positions with balogun and mayo as squad fillers that’s what I’m saying.
He’s more than capable raskin.

No I do r wat h a lot of kille, what I’ve said is any time I seen him play last season and twice those season I’ve been VERY impressed by him.
That’s all I’m saying.

47.) 23 Aug 2023 21:44:57

48.) 23 Aug 2023 21:47:52
Well davie Douglas that’s true but harry souttar played for dundee United for one season mate then short loan to Ross county I think haha.

21 Aug 2023 15:05:20
Just received a text that Beale is now wanting F. C Nantes player Moses Simon another Nigerian, not my best source but a decent one, John you hearing anything similar mate?

Beale about for 56

1.) 21 Aug 2023 15:19:30
There must be a good winger at Arsenal or similar not getting a fair crack? He might not want loans but the board will not fund much more till the PSV tie out of the way, then maybe not fund anything .

2.) 21 Aug 2023 15:31:47
Actually the board have funded 'k all so far worse shower than celtic have and that's near impossible.

3.) 21 aug 2023 15:56:30
whos paying the wages, add ons bonuses etc, jack frost?

4.) 21 Aug 2023 15:58:01
Moses Simon would be worth a fortune.

5.) 21 aug 2023 15:58:24
ive came to the conclusion mate, you don't know a lot about our board, nor football business in general,

we have an excellent board at this moment, fantastic in fact.

6.) 21 Aug 2023 16:07:10
The punters and sponsors are paying the wages mate nobody else. The tie and blazer crew are getting a free hurl, shareholders 'k all else, the guy at Ross County puts his money where his mouth is our lot do not. And that's a small village team in the premier league.

7.) 21 Aug 2023 16:18:38
Yup we need a buyer with real funds .

8.) 21 Aug 2023 16:24:05
Unbelievable Harthill.

9.) 21 Aug 2023 16:24:36
In terms of player profile, Moses Simon would be exactly what Beale is after due to his physical ability. Beale is looking for players who excel physically and technically. He wrote about this in detail years ago during his first spell at Rangers. When Gerrard and Beale first came the plan was to sign technically good players, and we did. However, we fell short physically and that’s when Bassey and Lundstrum came in. The high press was often ineffective in the SPFL due to the frequency of long punts up the pitch. The first pass was a punt up the park like 80% of the time. This explain the disparity between our Europeans and domestic results. We would punch well above our weight in Europe, then fall short domestically.

So yeah, the player makes sense. Can we afford him? Would he move to Scotland?

10.) 21 Aug 2023 16:32:03
So who is funding it.

11.) 21 Aug 2023 16:33:50
Hart hill. So what about park Gibson Bennett putting up millions clueless.

12.) 21 Aug 2023 16:34:57
GC just looked at him after being told valued at 8m and ooc 2024.

13.) 21 aug 2023 16:47:50
John, i was right, the guy knows nothing, its sad after all we've been through and the people who work tirelessly to protect our club, along with the personal monies invested over a long period.

14.) 21 Aug 2023 16:51:04
This Moses Simon would be a terrible signing 28, a goal or assist every 3 games in France 5 foot 6 so a midget and people are saying Physicality. His values at 8 million would be on decent wage and would have zero resale value.

Rangers should be looking at signing Ernest Nuamah from Nordsjaelland in Denmark, valued at 6 million scoring for fun stronger and faster younger at only 19 and is lighting up the danish league.

Siging Nuamah would be too ambitious for Rangers, we know how they like to sign ( except Yilmaz ) . Rejects at other clubs trying to sniff out a bargain rather than Investing in potential.

15.) 21 Aug 2023 16:54:11
Tomthumb which language is that trying to translate just now.

16.) 21 Aug 2023 17:03:01
Simon would be a top signing, but it can't be true tho because he earns 150k euros weekly and thier biggest earner, after looking him up nantes are looking to tie him up on another deal with a raise on his wage and both lyon and lille want him, as said decent source but he's out the window now lol.

17.) 21 Aug 2023 18:01:06
Yes Fortissat looks like he types with a baseball bat or wearing mittens.

18.) 21 aug 2023 18:22:13
i have a serious sickness, i often can't see properly after meds, but thanks for asking.

19.) 21 Aug 2023 18:25:07
Harthill over the last 10 years we are over 100 million in the hole. Th3 board have covered these losses with soft loans and share conversion. So how are they not funding us?

20.) 21 Aug 2023 18:36:22
Sincere apologies from me Tom I just had an awful work day in the rain, no excuse for mad rants about any aspect of the club, just frustration sometimes.

21.) 21 Aug 2023 18:37:17
The same Moses Simon who still has a year left on contract and is rated at 8 million and Nantes paid 5million

Nope!

Maybe forward planning in case he doesn't sign a new deal but no way are we paying another big fee without bringing money in first

And Beale might not even be around if he doesn't make champions league.

22.) 21 Aug 2023 18:39:07
Personal comments are getting worse on here tomthumb. Just ignore them.
Bealeabout the figures I saw were he gets 150,000 euros a month and that is well within our age range.

23.) 21 Aug 2023 18:50:27
Paul86 I accept I was off the mark and ranting, but still say we are a Saudi or similar away from being right on it . And I believe if a major investor appeared the current board would stop it . Might be wrong of course just an opinion, there's that yank at Chelsea talking £1bn and not too worried . Toon fans moaned at the outset of the Saudi deal, not unhappy now .

24.) 21 Aug 2023 19:00:12
I agree Jfm63. it’s unbelievable, the board have provided funding and backed Beale. It’s plain to see. It’s now up to Beale to deliver the goods.

25.) 21 Aug 2023 19:03:44
Yes jfm read similar, no chance.

26.) 21 Aug 2023 19:04:40
I was thinking of Victor Moses, not Moses Simon ?

Victor Moses would actually be a good signing for Rangers. I don’t know Moses Simon.

27.) 21 Aug 2023 19:04:54
Beale that is his monthly salary although I suspect u know that and r fishing.

28.) 21 Aug 2023 19:07:16
I thought it was weekly mate, yes then well within our budget, cool jfm maybe some truth in it, ooc 2024.

29.) 21 Aug 2023 19:08:12
Big fee can't see it being a big fee gofor ooc 2024.

30.) 21 Aug 2023 19:11:04
Tom you do not need to justify yourself re sickness on here, I had the same due to one eye, we in life should not need to make excuses

I remember ness bear getting incredible stick for his typing, the poor man was on his last legs, he said came on here to escape his sickness.

31.) 21 Aug 2023 19:12:05
Tom, I'm sorry to hear that. you take care my friend.

32.) 21 Aug 2023 19:13:12
Wage range.

33.) 21 Aug 2023 19:14:39
MB will be here whether we make CL or not. Its a free hit as we're guaranteed EL football.

34.) 21 Aug 2023 19:29:39
The board really are putting F##k all into the club it’s all been loans and converted to shares so every board member has made cash or will out rangers does not make them a bad board tho that’s just the way football now works.

35.) 21 Aug 2023 19:56:29
No board member has risked funds or been charitable or donated in any way . This is not like Man city, Newcastle or Chelsea whereby they seriously invest and don't miss it or need assurance they can't lose it, however the guys at Man Utd are different, we have tiny versions of them .

What we have here are people who make sure they can't lose money it isn't a gift, they don't put their own money at risk, but the customers certainly do.

36.) 21 Aug 2023 20:10:09
RFC and how much have u put up in shares to keep us afloat.

37.) 21 Aug 2023 20:11:32
Every epl club top 6 will be bought and sold at a profit Man U ect will have trebled in price since last bought every one who ones a club now is there for profit.

38.) 21 aug 2023 20:47:18
ive got 3 seats drum, how on earth am i taking any risks .

these guys have every right to protect their investments, , and they've handed they're lives over to rangers too, what have you done?

39.) 21 Aug 2023 20:54:38
No John mistake on my part.

40.) 21 Aug 2023 21:02:08
Kelso - doesn't matter whether saudis or any other rich benefactor comes in - we can't spend outwith our means - financial fair play.

Harthill - those posts are so ridiculous i can only assume you're at the wind up!

41.) 21 Aug 2023 21:05:32
Tomthumb the point is they are not risking funds they are not benefactors we could probably get cheaper lenders as that's all they are . Major investor required but unfortunately the current board and previous boards would try to stop it, with these people we won't go far at all, what have I done, well probably put on a far greater percentage of my funds than they have and it's not a loan it's gone forever and I'll keep doing it these people won't be out of pocket for a penny ever. Handed their lives over? bollocks.

42.) 21 Aug 2023 21:28:38
Financial sustainability regs. How u going to comply with the three pillars drum.

43.) 21 Aug 2023 21:54:32
The board have loaned money end of, they get a free seat and nice outfit plus free travel for that but we don't, they get the money back we don't because we support with our hard earned no questions asked. Nearly all boards and committees in Scotland are the same kind of people right down to the juniors, though the guy at Darvel is a bit different and his pies are top notch. He pumps money in to 2 clubs and wants nothing back .

44.) 22 Aug 2023 12:40:49
Ernest Nuamah just signed for Lyon for 25million quid.

45.) 22 aug 2023 18:39:15
whats the name of the pie guy berr?

46.) 22 Aug 2023 22:50:53
I was never a fan of Parks but sorry, these guys put money into the club when it mattered and we now have a top quality CEO and an excellent Chairman and it is not beyond the realms of credibility that we will see further investment and some more very clever sponsorship in the not too distant future.

We need to remember that we are playing in Scotland in a poor league that is badly mismanaged, there is little benefit in ploughing money into Scottish Football at present since, unlike England, there is little likelihood of a major payback unless things change.

For Rangers and Celtic, the ideal would be that they could leave the football backwater since, with our supporters base worldwide, we could most definitely be a force to be reckoned with.

18 Aug 2023 15:27:41
Also told Rangers are trying very hard to get Cooper and the lw signed before the psv game and announced to the fans before the game.

Beale about for 56

1.) 18 Aug 2023 15:33:32
Don't know why Beale as neither would play.

2.) 18 Aug 2023 15:34:48
I highly doubt anyone will be signed until after psv

It would be a way 5o soften blow if we go out then they sign someone or they might hold back money in case Beale is no longer there ?.

3.) 18 Aug 2023 15:50:41
Why would Beale not be there go for.

4.) 18 Aug 2023 15:51:35
gofor if we lose to psv wheres the info he will no longer be there, bit of an unusual take on it.

5.) 18 Aug 2023 15:52:57
Have you been told who the lw is.

6.) 18 Aug 2023 16:15:41
Why would Beale no longer be there if we lose to PSV. Your opinions are absolutely wild.

7.) 18 Aug 2023 16:50:56
Whit? hold back money, to pay off Beale? well that makes sense in some parallel universe . Unless you think Beale will take the huff and resign then we can spend it all on sweeties .

8.) 18 Aug 2023 16:53:28
Regardless of the how the PSV tie goes, trust me, Beale is here for the long haul. Would be better if we ALL got behind the team and manager.

9.) 18 Aug 2023 16:57:30
That’s some prediction to suggest that
We either win or lose
But Beale will still be there and into the Europa
Group stages we go.

10.) 18 Aug 2023 17:17:07
Michael Beale's job is safe until September 3rd if Rangers fall 6 points behind on the 3rd he will be under severe pressure and probably will be gone by Christmas.

11.) 18 Aug 2023 17:21:23
Let's look on the positive side ie what if beale beats them on the 3rd of september which of course is most definitely doable ?.

12.) 18 Aug 2023 17:25:23
I agree he needs to pull off a win @ Ibrox or he will be under pressure, don’t know about gone by Xmas unless he drops more silly points between OF and winter break. He’s the manager so I’m sure he’s aware what the script is. Saying he’ll be gone if we lose to PSV though is a bit dramatic.

13.) 18 Aug 2023 17:25:34
If we don't beat Morton 8-0 the manager will be fired, this is an insane rumour I heard from a jakey as I walked past a bus shelter in Coatbrig .

14.) 18 Aug 2023 17:49:21
Wilson is away so Goforbig needs someone else to moan about.

15.) 18 Aug 2023 17:51:20
I honestly can't see our board sacking Beale even if we lose the league with the same points difference as last season, hopefully we don't tho, i think they will give him the next couple of windows, just my opinion on things, still believe he'll do very well at our club.

16.) 18 Aug 2023 17:59:35
I agree with you beale ? I honestly think michael beale will be given a few transfer windows to get the first team squad he wants and even if we don't win the league title this season, i still think beale will remain rangers manager for at least another season, after this one and that's just my honest opinion ?.

17.) 18 Aug 2023 18:15:08
Gadji I presume it was during the daylight hours that you were out and about in Coatbridge.

18.) 18 Aug 2023 18:49:50
He needs to win the league this season no two ways about it.

19.) 18 Aug 2023 19:26:17
If he runs them comes i definitely think he'll get time, hopefully we win the title tho.

20.) 18 Aug 2023 20:14:25
Close even.

21.) 18 Aug 2023 20:20:48
Yes indeed it was daylight in Coatbrig, the sky is very low though.

22.) 18 Aug 2023 20:47:44
If our team clicks soon then I feel we will win the league. Let's not get too carried away that the lot in the East End are anything special or indeed that their manager is some sort of genius. All of that said I would like to see us sign a top quality centre back although I would like to see us ship out those players that don't have a future at the club, principally Kamara, Davies, Lundstram, McLaughlin and Wright.

18 Aug 2023 14:54:30
Just had another text, Beale meet up with that lw and his agent today.

Beale about for 56

1.) 18 Aug 2023 15:11:21
I'm guessing no names were mentioned? Here's hoping its someone who can add numbers to the team.

2.) 18 Aug 2023 15:13:25
Luis Palma?

3.) 18 Aug 2023 15:32:49
I'm hearing there has been an approach made for Martin Boyle from Hibernian. It's from a Hibs shareholder, no idea if it's true or if he's on the windup or what tbh.

4.) 18 Aug 2023 15:35:41
I hope this info is correct I just can't see it.

I liked the boy Palma.

5.) 18 Aug 2023 15:50:45
Probably at the windup dtb.

6.) 18 Aug 2023 15:53:13
500,000 grand and 50 cases of brylcream.

7.) 18 Aug 2023 16:27:24
Can’t see it bouncy. Beale stated earlier in summer no forward player in Scotland is better than what we already had so we won’t be signing anyone from Scotland in that position.
I liked van veen, others liked shanks, some like Boyle, all these are forward players so by beales comment none will be coming mate.
Not daft on Boyle anyway tbh, if we had to sign one player from Scottish team I’d go shankland as it not impressed with our forwards so far.

8.) 18 Aug 2023 16:33:59
Cool the gofor that is your choice. ?.

9.) 18 Aug 2023 16:35:02
Are you saying Beale never meet up with that winger today gofor?

10.) 18 Aug 2023 16:35:50
Fae what we’ve seen so far this season and from seeing clips, I know, of palma… I think he walks into our team on left wing and we need to ditch these split striker carry on it doesn’t work.

My front 3 would be

Palma left
Lammers right
Dessers or Danilo centre not both

Cantwell in the free role but dropping into mf out of possession

Cifuentes and raskin mf
Need to bring Jack in for bigger tougher games like Europe and sacrifice either lammers or palma.

11.) 18 Aug 2023 16:56:20
Please stop mentioning comb over falls down Boyle and big stiffy Shankland both failures when two daft clubs took a chance on them and they both failed in an embarrassing fashion .

12.) 18 Aug 2023 17:01:35
The lw is uk based and not European
I’m betting on that.

13.) 18 Aug 2023 17:02:43
If this is true, my question is who in the Euro squad drops out to accommodate him? I get that a new CB could swap in for Balogun, but we're getting to the point where we can't name all our attackers in the squad as it is.

Here's the 17 non-homegrown players we have in there so far, and I suppose Lundstram could drop out but replacing him with a winger leaves a pretty poor balance:

Butland
Tav
Yilmaz
Goldson
Sterling
Balogun
Borna
Lundstram
Hagi
Cifuentes
Dowell
Raskin
Dessers
Cantwell
Lammers
Sima
Danilo.

14.) 18 Aug 2023 17:29:45
Possibly Hagi.

15.) 18 Aug 2023 17:31:13
Yilmaz would be my choice to fallout that set of players, Stirling and Devine can both play FB position if needed.

16.) 18 Aug 2023 17:37:32
Yo imo players to drop out cold be
yilmas/ Barisic
Hagi
Lundstrum.

17.) 18 Aug 2023 17:52:19
We are singing a lw and people are going on about Shankland lol.

18.) 18 Aug 2023 17:53:19
Ally McCoist failed when he left Scotland wouldn’t take him ether would you.

19.) 18 Aug 2023 19:45:52
Barasic won’t be dropped he’s first choice left back.
Yimaz is his cover bit Devine n Sterling can pay there so he could be an option.
Lunny is a must atm until replaced as there’s a lack of balance without him in squad esp over 6 group games and 3 months a lot of injuries so we need cover in cm.

For me Hagi would be the obvious choice to drop out if we sign for example palma but anyone really of course.

20.) 18 Aug 2023 20:30:45
Ryan Fraser?

21.) 18 Aug 2023 20:54:02
If it was Ryan Fraser I'd certainly not be amused with that.

22.) 18 Aug 2023 21:04:44
Lundstram will be a liability this season, he will be exactly the same as he was his last six months at Sheffield United. Better he goes and we bring in a younger alternative. i'm still hearing that clubs in Istanbul want Yilmaz. That concerns me more than losing Lundstram.
A couple of names with contracts expiring June 2024, could be available, Sam Field, obviously been mentioned a few times, Ty Dolan, Chris Willock, both wingers?

23.) 18 Aug 2023 21:26:34
fingers crossed mate
we need a pacy player on the flank
hopfully a Kent; candiea's type who can beat players n bring us a bit of flare.

Beale about for 56's banter posts with other poster's replies to Beale about for 56's banter posts

15 Oct 2023 13:36:53
Reading Clement leaves the recruitment to the dof, clearly he just gets them performing on the park, we have many good players in our squad, hopefully they kick on for him.

Beale about for 56

1.) 15 Oct 2023 14:26:06
We have a few that need to go as well Beale.

2.) 15 Oct 2023 14:29:04
Well that’s up to the manager storm.

3.) 15 Oct 2023 14:48:18
I think we’ll be surprised, he may well get a tune out of one or two that aren’t shooting the lights out at the moment.

4.) 15 Oct 2023 14:48:59
If he starts off by letting Dessers lead the line we’re in trouble.

5.) 15 Oct 2023 15:00:40
Beale he works with people doesn't leave It to others he believe in taking some of the strain of him to give him more time with players but doesn't leave it to others to ok signings.

6.) 15 Oct 2023 15:02:38
He will give dessers another chance and might see better out of some of the signings now.

Don't think Beale had a clue hopefully Clement can get a tune out of these players

Will need time and a few signings before we can judge though.

7.) 15 Oct 2023 15:03:37
Beale recruitment as in negotiations and talks but he does like a say in who we target.

8.) 15 Oct 2023 15:03:43
Sterling, cifu, dessers, lammers all not good enough that's just on top of all the existing players needing shipped out. Davies goldson borna matondo although looked ok i think that's cause everybody round him been terrible.

9.) 15 Oct 2023 15:37:04
Azul, let the manager decide and do what he has to do and start winning us games mate ? I think the key is clement and our new DOF whoever that may be, will have a very good working relationship and work together on possible new signings, that will fit the system and the tactics, that clement wishes to play ? With a new DOF in place, this will allow our new manager to work on the training field with our current group of players on what he wants from them in his preferred system and tactics ??It will allow clement to concentrate on his specific job and winning football matches ?with any new signings in the upcoming transfer windows the manager will/ should always have the final say if we sign a player originally identified or not ?.

10.) 15 Oct 2023 15:39:55
Cannot see how any manager worth his salt would allow someone else to make all the signings on his behaviour without his input. The manager has to know what players he wants and which ones fit his system. Leaving all that to someone else is crazy. Its like Beale signs all the players and Clement has to work with Beales signings! Erm is that not the situation at the moment.

11.) 15 Oct 2023 16:37:18
I don’t think you can see better out of Dessers. If I’m wrong I’ll admit it when it happens but I’m not convinced it will.

12.) 15 Oct 2023 17:23:26
Paul86 Sterling is no good enough based on what mate? Around 2 hours of football, he may well turn out to be a dud, surely any player we sign would need to have at least a run of 10-15 before we can say that.

13.) 15 Oct 2023 17:27:21
Did anyone say without his input.

14.) 15 Oct 2023 17:58:42
Raskin I never said it wasn’t up to the manager so have a day off. It’s my opinion and I’ll post it.

15.) 15 Oct 2023 18:30:48
Raskonloyal it's kind of implies it when someone says he leaves recruitment to dof.

If you identify or ok signings that's not leaving it to dof that's working with a director of football.

13 Oct 2023 14:04:34
Texted from a fellow Rangers fan going about Raskin saying hopefully one day he'll play in the epl, my answer that is what ambitious players want to be tested against the best weekly, I've certainly not got a problem with that.

Beale about for 56

1.) 13 Oct 2023 14:11:06
I'm the same as you Beale, I have no problem.
Anybody with ambition or belief in there ability would surely want to test themselves against the best on a weekly basis?
If he gets the move then it means he has been performing well for us. Win, win.

2.) 13 Oct 2023 14:13:24
He's not exactly showing his potential in this so called mickey mouse league yet. Infact he's been very underwhelming so far.

3.) 13 Oct 2023 14:14:59
Me neither, I’d be more worried if the lad didn’t have any ambition to play at a higher level. On another note he needs to up his game in order to win a move to the epl.

4.) 13 Oct 2023 14:22:19
Beadle that is exactly what ambitious players do, yes marky hopefully he raises his game and gets his move.

5.) 13 Oct 2023 14:37:58
He's no where good enough for a top team in epl.

6.) 13 Oct 2023 14:41:51
As it stands I don’t see him playing in England I don’t think he’s shown anywhere near that level yet.

7.) 13 Oct 2023 14:45:11
That was 6 months ago? Why is that getting brought up now?

8.) 13 Oct 2023 15:01:24
Ambitions are important but keep your mouth shut about other clubs and other leagues while you’re under contract at any club. Let your football do the talking. IMO he’s lucky to be getting a game for us on his current form.

9.) 13 Oct 2023 15:15:03
He needs to raise his game about 5 notches to even have anyone looking at him imo,

10.) 13 Oct 2023 15:15:53
I would much rather his ambition was to improve as a player in Scotland, improve rangers as a team, win some silverware and close the ever widening gap to Celtic.

If he does all that the he can move to EPL with the rangers fans blessing.

From his performances this year he is a mile away from even being a good player in the SPFL.

11.) 13 Oct 2023 15:18:19
Your only posting this to try and get one over Andy. It's pretty pathetic if you ask me.

12.) 13 Oct 2023 15:44:07
I’d be more worried if he said he was happy to see out his career playing against st mirren and Ross county every week.

13.) 13 Oct 2023 15:47:04
If we were signing a player of his age who didn’t have that ambition and believe they were cable of that i would be concerned.

14.) 13 Oct 2023 15:49:17
What are you even talking about superswally what has this got to do with andy?

15.) 13 Oct 2023 16:09:13
You would think that all sensible Rangers fans would applaud his ambition and hope he lifts his performance levels to make it a reality, that in turn means RFC also win with the transfer fee and the improved performances to boot.

16.) 13 oct 2023 16:51:29
we have been quite some way behind celtic in recent signings imo

raskin is another, although he has some way to go to match yilmaz and possibly lamners and dessers fir money wasted, wouldraskin get in celtic team? he may come good though in theright team with right coach, atm, shown more than sone but nothing near as much as expected given the chase.

17.) 13 Oct 2023 16:54:20
Sometimes ambition doesn’t Match ability .

My wife knows ?. I Want to be a gigolo but ….

18.) 13 Oct 2023 16:54:27
Plays well in short spells very much like Cantwell but that barely wins you games never mind titles. For all Lundstrums in the Captain Kirk limited ability field, at least he doesn't hide on the pitch or in the treatment room imo the same cannot be said for Raskin or plenty others.

19.) 13 Oct 2023 17:22:35
Hard working and tidy player, but often gets caught wrong side when defending. I'm sure he will excel under the right manager.

20.) 13 Oct 2023 17:26:59
Be worried if he didn't have ambitions to play in a higher league.

21.) 13 Oct 2023 17:31:12
Anybody can see this is targeted at the Callum McGregor conversation you had with Andy a while back.

22.) 13 Oct 2023 17:32:18
Howwazthat when has raskin hid? Nonsense.

23.) 13 Oct 2023 17:47:43
Tom match Yilmaz lol man we know you don't rate Yilmaz but i can spot his talent a mile off.

24.) 13 Oct 2023 18:01:36
Storm, away to Limassol for example. Doesn't dominate and continually demand possession. Big central mideiflders players do.

25.) 13 Oct 2023 18:02:21
Tom even in his current form Raskin would still get a game for celtic performing well below his standard.

26.) 13 Oct 2023 18:06:00
Superswally actually nothing to do with that fgs, what has mcgregor to do with Raskin? unless you're talking about ambition.

27.) 13 Oct 2023 18:09:40
Raskin has done nothing so far to warrant that sort of hype.

I've said before, the lad has ability but makes too many mistakes defensively (dropping runners) and is wasteful with the ball. What he has very much in his favour in my book is he puts in his shift and it's far easier to make a young player technically and tactically better than it is to give them effort.

At the moment, he doesn't get close to the Celtic team, there would be 3, arguably 4 ahead of him (McGregor, Hatate, O'Riley and Turnbull) based on output.

That's not a slight on Raskin per se, as they are unfortunately very strong there. None of our midfield options IMO are a first choice for Celtic.

28.) 13 oct 2023 18:19:15
i can spot talent in local juniors mate, and in rangers youth,

yilmaz s never going to make it, waste of money, ridiculous signing and stop trying to tell us what you can see, w3 all see it, talented, possibly, up to playing in the uk at a decent level, , never.

29.) 13 Oct 2023 18:20:01
It was not 6 month ago he said it in a interview against recently.

30.) 13 oct 2023 18:21:35
i can spot the talent of dozens of boys, even in spfl, talented doesn't make a rangers defender, much much more required, , , absolute waste of money so far and very very strange signing imo.

31.) 13 Oct 2023 18:23:24
Beale, I'm with Tom on this one, so far a very underwhelming signing.

32.) 13 Oct 2023 18:33:52
Tomthumb1212 Yilmaz is still in the Turkey squad internationally even though he hasn’t even been close to his potential for us yet. For you to say he’s an absolute waste of money and is never going to make it is miles off it.

33.) 13 Oct 2023 18:47:55
Tom I'm putting that down to nonsense again man Yilmaz can play.

34.) 13 Oct 2023 19:06:22
I agree with Tom thumb.

35.) 13 oct 2023 19:21:09
so he was a good buy then, have a guess how much money he has made against how many minutes he's played

will dissappear like snaw aff a dyke,

36.) 13 oct 2023 19:25:12
and anyone thinking raskin is ahead of celtics midfield is seeing different players to me, , m this has been our major issue fir a few years, yolmaz, raskin, lammers, dessers, and a few before them, dint touch celtic, that's why they win, not ricket science

beale, telling us fir months hiw, you see this, and you see that

means absolutelty nothing when another club wins everything, , talent means nothing i'd you don't have a heart, we can all seetalent, seeing winners is something else.

37.) 13 Oct 2023 19:41:34
Van Bronckhorst said the same when he signed and he got pelters for it, even way back then. If he is good enough to get that move then we will benefit both in his performances and financially so there no problem but he will need up his game massively to make the EPL teams even look at him.

38.) 13 Oct 2023 20:25:54
Agreed AC21. Since he can spot talent in youngsters maybe you should become a scout for rangers TT.

There is some amount of barry white posted on here these days.

How. That’s just utter nonsense.

39.) 13 Oct 2023 20:40:35
So Yilmaz is not a winner now deary dear Tom I'm sure he won the double before he signed.

40.) 13 Oct 2023 20:47:21
Just because someone might not want to play in prem does not make them unambitious .

Bug I get were you are coming from Beale I agree have no problem players stating see us as a stepping stone that means they are giving Thier all to follow Thier dream and move to bigger team or league.

Could it also not be that he just likes the prem.

41.) 13 Oct 2023 20:57:28
Don't agree storm. Take the what you want to see gregory pecks off and look at it dispassionately. If you were writing his gers memoirs for year 1, please identify a single great 90 mins of note? I am more than happy to give the young fella more time, absolutely, but I am not going to pretend he's been anything above 'looks promising but yet to prove it' in his first year.

42.) 13 Oct 2023 20:59:20
@superswally
?️?????.

43.) 13 Oct 2023 21:07:01
100% stormtrooper some people on here seem to be very short sighted and narrow minded. There is a top player in Yilmaz and most can see that.

44.) 13 Oct 2023 21:53:13
Does raskin start before hetate cal Mac or oreilly? No for me he doesn’t.

45.) 13 Oct 2023 22:01:33
Gregory pecs aff what are you taking about? And it’s fine to disagree with me I don’t care as it’s all about opinions but I have no idea what you are talking about. Try English for a start.

46.) 13 Oct 2023 22:11:23
Raskin, Cantwell, Yilmaz can be top players but the coaching and the system needs to suit them. at the moment its not. Sorry but need to hand over the reigns and get rid of the long termers. Build a young vibrant team.

47.) 13 Oct 2023 22:42:39
Storm, what you did not understand as English I can summarise in German as follows. take your 'just because he players for us' specs (Gregory pecks) off. Raskins done ok. Hopefully this time next year he's done amazing. Not yet though.

48.) 14 Oct 2023 14:43:04
Beale

Totally agree Yilmaz. Play, movent pretty damned good. Hope new manager sees and improves.

07 Oct 2023 11:28:32

Cf Roofe
Lf Lovelace.

Beale about for 56

1.) 07 Oct 2023 11:39:54
It’s not going to be anywhere near that Beale. Davis won’t drop all those players.

2.) 07 Oct 2023 11:48:14
Probably not a chance storm, my team though.

3.) 07 Oct 2023 11:49:23
I agree storm .
On a lighter note I’ve came up with a brilliant idea.
ED
Can we have a post of the week?
The winner could get a length of heras … delivered free of charge .
My only prob is I would probably win every week and I have got all the heras anyway . ??
Ok still working on it but it could work.

4.) 07 Oct 2023 11:59:22
I don’t get the fascination with Yilmaz. He can’t defend and his crossing is woeful.

5.) 07 Oct 2023 12:06:14
Surely raskin will play over cifu?

6.) 07 Oct 2023 12:11:52
That the game paul write Cifuentes off as he can't play.

7.) 07 Oct 2023 12:15:05
What no Balogun? Did a similar thing myself, how do we drop the 9 who didn`t turn up on Thursday night? Not sure Dowell is fit, or will ever be . I would give McCausland a game, he looked bright and sharp on Thursday night . He`s a pacy winger who can score a goal, why not see if he can do it at first team level . He`ll probably end up playing for the B team today so we`ll know he won`t play tomorrow.

8.) 07 Oct 2023 12:45:52
Dont understand what you have said? He can't play?

9.) 07 Oct 2023 13:15:40
Good First 11 that. Got to be something along them lines ????????.

10.) 07 Oct 2023 13:20:54
BAF 56 - Rice might start but highly unlikely Yfeko or Lovelace.
The B team is playing Monaco today so it might give us an idea what academy players are in the squad for the match v St Mirren.

11.) 07 Oct 2023 13:21:52
Unfortunately I don't see any changes from midweek, I just don't believe that it will happen, but we really shouldn't see Dessers or Wright anywhere near the team.

12.) 07 Oct 2023 13:33:07
McCausland is definitely worth a game on the wing. thankfully Wright is out today so that is one of the failures that won't be in the team.

13.) 07 Oct 2023 13:42:22
Paul Cifuentes is a very good player obviously taking time to settle.

14.) 07 Oct 2023 13:46:44
Basically what he is implying payl is because you picked a different player to start from him, then you are saying cifuentes can't play. It's a 2+2 =5 scenario.

15.) 07 Oct 2023 13:46:44
Storm, what's the benefit of fielding players that don't bother showing up to the game? Why not actually play players that have something to prove? I think Beales team is spot on. I hope Devine is on the bench.

16.) 07 Oct 2023 14:26:52
Raskin not in the team because i wouldn't risk playing him in a couple of games in three days.

17.) 07 Oct 2023 17:07:42
Can’t believe people are still putting Cifuentes in the team he’s absolutely awful! Beale56 we’d get murdered with that team, Ferguson said it in the paper this morning it’s not fair on the young players throwing that many in at once.

04 Oct 2023 18:53:17
What about Hansi Flick his team always presses from the front, we need to hope we make the correct choice this time, it doesn't matter to me if Davies is still the manager in December and hopefully he's lifted the lc and closer to them, if he is he could land the job.

Beale about for 56

1.) 04 Oct 2023 19:05:52
Sounds a great suggestion Beale.

2.) 04 Oct 2023 19:26:41
#Davis.

3.) 04 oct 2023 19:32:07
yip good thought.

4.) 04 Oct 2023 19:45:21
Would love to have someone like him take over, but would he be interested? All this talk of Lampard, McIness, even Muscat doesn't fill me with confidence.

5.) 04 Oct 2023 20:07:13
The manager we should be busting a gut to appoint is kjetil knutsen ?
Ticks most boxes for me and like i said my left field appointment would be gallardo ?.

6.) 04 Oct 2023 20:48:23
I will only say zees once, is that Herr Flik from allo, allo!

02 Oct 2023 01:28:17
My choice of our next manager would be Kevin Muscat let him bring in his assistant, backroom team of A Rae N McCann S Davies.

Beale about for 56

1.) 02 Oct 2023 02:01:13
I’m hoping we can somehow get Potter or Knutsen. But if not how about Jon Dahl Tomasson as an outsider?

2.) 02 Oct 2023 05:35:43
I agree with you mostly blue89,as my top 3 choices to be our next manager would be graham potter, kjetil knutsen or kevin muscat, with marcelo gallardo a left field outsider ?.

3.) 02 Oct 2023 07:13:33
No chance we should go for muscat we can't take anymore massive risks in hoping rookie managers make it. We need a manager with pedigree and experience we must break the bank on a new manager no more penny pinching.

4.) 02 Oct 2023 12:17:25
Rookie king, muscat has been a manager since 2013 mate.

Stevie Weir is technical director at Brighton mate, he overseas all men's a women's football, he also has a big part in recruitment only one man he has to answer too, very intelligent man mate, my lad signed for Brighton on his seventh birthday, I played against Weir many times when both at boys clubs but I certainly didn't now how intelligent he was until last summer.

You have never heard of a man that has played about forty games for Belgium and has played at world cups and European championships very interesting Andy, won three titles in a row with a couple of teams in a better league than ours, done a decent job at Monaco played psg three times results 3 0, 3 1 at home result in Paris 1 1 draw, his first ten games in charge of Monaco won 9 and drew 1,he also took them from ninth to third, he's won six trophies in his six years as a manager, very impressive if you ask me.
