15.) 15 Jun 2025 00:46:59
Huge player.
16.) 15 Jun 2025 00:23:02
A true ger watp.
17.) 15 Jun 2025 00:47:14
Just back from the dancing and seen Russel Martin out busting his stuff with Lawerence Shankland, maybe he is replacing Danillo?
18.) 15 Jun 2025 00:47:51
Huge Player!
13 Jun 2025 08:03:43
Looks like Mitchel White has joined Liverpool from Rangers as a first-team physical performance coach.
1.) 13 Jun 2025 09:10:08
If he's responsible for physical performance Expect an injury crisis Ed.
{Ed001's Note - shouldn't be a problem, Slot has the players doing yoga before training every day. That is a major part of the reason his teams suffer less injuries than others.}
2.) 13 Jun 2025 09:22:57
Can remember Mols saying ballet was the reason for him turning as sharp, some footballer.
{Ed001's Note - that would make a massive difference to his balance.}
3.) 13 Jun 2025 09:30:52
Jedi mind tricks Ed, sorry I thought you said Yoda.
{Ed001's Note - if it works, I would be all for it. Who doesn't love a bit of Yoda?}
4.) 13 Jun 2025 09:45:16
"If no mistake have you made, yet losing you are, a different game you should play"?.
5.) 13 Jun 2025 10:11:34
Never seen a player who could turn on two pence like Mols.
6.) 13 Jun 2025 10:49:12
Yoga was what Ryan Giggs attributed to such a long playing career.
Well it was either the yoga or pumping his brothers missus that kept him on his toes for so long.
7.) 13 Jun 2025 10:59:28
Cooper i still never seen one mate, he didn't get injured he plays with the best of the best in any league, used too often but he could have been world class.
8.) 13 Jun 2025 11:55:49
Was criminal the way he was taken out by Khan?, he was a special talent no doubt.
9.) 13 Jun 2025 12:38:17
Hated Khan for that challenge, Mols still stands out a mile when he plays with the seniors in the fives etc and he's a great guy as well, we were spoiled with some great players and glad I was in my generation to watch them in the blue jersey.
10.) 13 Jun 2025 14:23:33
Big Rio F done ballet am sure and giggs did do yoga sebo you are right.
11.) 13 Jun 2025 14:33:13
Watch the tackle again lads - Kahn wins ball and Mols tries to avoid the goalie rather than landing on him with his studs (which would have been better for his Gers career but split second choice) and his knee goes - so much though the German had some bad tackles over the years this was not one of them - like you all I wished we could have seen more of a fit and healthy Mols - a true gent.
12.) 13 Jun 2025 15:12:31
The injury ruined him as of countless others i can remember.
11 Jun 2025 22:47:29
According to Hull Live, Rangers are one of a number of clubs interested in a deal to sign Hull City right-back Cody Drameh.
1.) 12 Jun 2025 00:10:21
Hopefully good young talent.
2.) 12 Jun 2025 11:04:58
Not if we have mulligan, Tav and sterling already in the book.
3.) 12 Jun 2025 11:17:11
It's from Ibrox noise.
Wouldn't put stock in it.
4.) 12 Jun 2025 11:21:39
Hopefully Kasanwirjo as well Stevie i really like him, saying that he can play anywhere in the back line, very handy player for pennies.
5.) 12 Jun 2025 12:49:31
Yeah Beale I rate him very highly I think he could go onto big things. I think we're likely going to move sterling on or make him a mf player going forward. Don't see him in the discussion as a right back.
10 Jun 2025 10:55:07
Rangers Review reporting that Abdallah Sima has agreed on a contract extension with Brighton and Hove Albion. So I'd imagine that puts paid to any potential for us to snap him up as going in to the final year of his deal if we were to make it to the champions league.
1.) 10 Jun 2025 11:12:17
It's a year extension on top of the option they had to extended his deal at the end of last season so it takes his contract until 2027 I can see them loaning him out with an obligation to buy deal.
2.) 10 Jun 2025 11:18:36
I would not sign a player who wants to only come if we r in CL.
Also told we have given two clubs permission to talk to bajrami. German and French.
3.) 10 Jun 2025 11:29:02
Or maybe he's the ex player rumoured to be coming back that ehl has mentioned.
4.) 10 Jun 2025 11:36:08
Honestly wouldn't want him back, he decided against coming back last season when we wanted him, he can bolt now.
5.) 10 Jun 2025 11:42:59
Verdant by signing a new deal, we need to pay a fee, Brighton value him at 10 million, imo not happening.
6.) 10 Jun 2025 11:44:15
Think we should get Bajrami fee covered if he goes John.
7.) 10 Jun 2025 11:51:33
John could it have been anything to do with brighton wanting him to play in the champions league as to who they'd rather loan him out to. Not sure if that how it works but maybe they'd have been more in favour of him playing champions league football to raise his value for a potential sale. i got the impression sima wanted to come back.
8.) 10 Jun 2025 11:56:03
Always thought there was a big player in Berjami, was hoping it was just settling in time and not playing to his style, took Raskin a good bit of time before fans stopped saying he was hopeless or constantly injured, now look at him.
9.) 10 Jun 2025 12:15:49
After Bajrami playing his first few games I thought we had a player, then went off it but he did play well in games against them.
10.) 10 Jun 2025 12:38:55
I agree Gary, don't write players off too soon, best example is raskin.
11.) 10 Jun 2025 13:24:10
Bajrami is a good player if he has a bit of time to play. unfortunately he doesn't get that time here.
12.) 10 Jun 2025 14:34:43
Sima can do one, he chose to play for Brest over us last season, you always get two tits together. He did well but I want players who want to play for us.
13.) 10 Jun 2025 14:36:51
Thanks john. I was just commenting on the off chance as still racking my brains at to who the ex player could be.
14.) 10 Jun 2025 15:12:25
Can't blame the lad for being ambitious, he has been punted around from club to club for 4 years, we failed to qualify for the champions league after the loss to Dynamo Kiev, had that not happened he was coming, so it's not Sima's fault we crumbled late in the game after Jefte got sent off for a foul that was not a foul. and Kyiv capitalized on our weakened defence and got 2 quick goals, Game over.
we failed to reach the group stages on 13th of August 2024.
Sima Joined Brest on the 21st of August 2024 and scored a few cracking goals in the Champions League for them.
So it was us that messed up the deal that was being arranged to bring him back.
Probably a good thing, we are nowhere near the quality and level required to have a successful run in the Champions League.
Saved us the embarrassment of getting skelped in the group stages again and finishing with a worse record than the last time we got Paggered silly in that competition.
15.) 10 Jun 2025 16:03:10
Do The Bouncy, Sima wanted to come back but Brighton wanted him to play in Champions League, that way they could see if he was worth keeping. They have obviously liked what they saw or think sign him to another contract and then sell for a nice amount.
16.) 10 Jun 2025 20:30:53
Sima was desperate to come back here in the summer. We couldn't afford what they wanted.
His family were still here as recently at December.
09 Jun 2025 20:19:12
Mark Henry digressing that Newcastle are also looking at another of our kids: Alfie Hutchinson. Think they have already agreed a deal for the young lad Goodbrand.
1.) 09 Jun 2025 21:15:03
Some career switch for the world's strongest man.
2.) 09 Jun 2025 22:21:24
Sexual chocolate, proud father of a hand.
3.) 09 Jun 2025 22:56:10
That will go over many peoples heads Struth. Mae Young needed an income.
4.) 10 Jun 2025 02:26:19
Hope he wasn't wearing a pink suit jacket.

BBC Fluff piece on Davide Ancelotti came out recently out written by Guillem Balague. Suggests he's had a few conversations with us and that he thinks he's no. 1 choice at the moment.
Includes the lines:
"When [Modric was] asked by Davide whether he'd fancy coming to Rangers, he didn't say no. ".
"Other players have also asked Ancelotti to take them to Scotland. "
1.) 28 May 2025 16:43:52
Jimbo Wonder if he can get Mbappe and Bellingham to come :-D.
2.) 28 May 2025 17:58:30
Enjoyed the read giving a bit more info about him. Very positive but still all just speculation.
3.) 28 May 2025 19:13:55
Oh god can you imagine the meltdown from the other side when they read this.
06 May 2025 17:38:48
BBC reporting Exeter have taken up thier option for Yfeko. "City have paid an undisclosed fee for the 21-year-old, who impressed in 13 games before missing much of the season after a hamstring injury he first suffered in October. "
Good luck to him. Hope we have a sell on % in there too. While I don;t think he'd ever make it at Rangers I wouldn;t be surprised if he gets decent moves down there.
1.) 06 May 2025 20:48:44
Yo jimbo £350k us add ins mate.
2.) 08 May 2025 09:16:51
As long as we've broken even on him i'm fine with it . take a player have a look move him on if not doing as expected.
12 Feb 2025 10:12:44
Issue for me now if that PC is not getting the most of the players we have, and in the case of Rice seems to be actively holding back progress. He's too dogmatic when he comes to his system, which just doesn't work against a low block.
I saw a stat on X that Raskin and Dio are being asked to run c 14km per game, which seems to be more than ANY player in the EPL has run this season (Kulusevski being highest with 13.2km against Manchester United) . Add to that the system drags our no10 up ot the front line when we're in possession and so Bajrami / Lawrence are not being allowed to impact the play at all, and we've got a system that just does not work, and which he is unwilling to change.
Any manager of the club needs to realise winning is more important than their own philosophy, and anyone that is not pragmatic enough to change their ways to help the team win is not good enough to be our manager. I've had sympathy with PC up to now, but his stubbornness / bloody mindedness with this system of play just can;t go on.
1.) 12 Feb 2025 10:56:58
We are very light in the centre of the park with only 4 natural cms and I personally wouldn't class dio as one so so more like 3. Rice, Barron, Raskin definitely need another 2 in there. Rice was rotten on Sunday just because he's a young Scottish guy doesn't mean he shouldn't get criticised he was absolutely rank letting the ball bounce basic passes not even tracking his man well.
2.) 12 Feb 2025 10:59:05
Not buying bajrami, not being able to affect the game is something down to tactics, he's been miles off it for a while now and Tom Lawrence has played well this season until his injury 3 goals and 2 assist in the league and 2 goals in 3 games in Europe which is his best return so far at rangers.
i can't see the stats for distances covered, i don't think they are publicly available but i very much doubt Raskin and diomande are covering 14km each domestically. i agree PC is struggling to get the best out of players domestically but don't think it has anything to do with those reasons.
3.) 12 Feb 2025 11:13:52
Yo Jimbo. Actively holding back Rice's progress? Codswallop. He played him in a strong team to finish that game early. on this occasion he didn't perform well and got rightly hooked. Played him but not hindering his progress.
4.) 12 Feb 2025 11:22:32
I would hate to play in a Clement midfield, we don't play through the middle of the park, CB's are instructed to play long diagonals and we try to get down the sides and round the back of teams instead of patterns of play through them. Our CM's are asked to cover lots of ground to put out fires and it frustrates the life out of me.
We hope to create from a moment of individual play rather than team patterns. Clement is a counter attacking coach and if that's his philosophy then that's how he will play but it's not suited to opponent set up with a low block.
5.) 12 Feb 2025 11:44:52
The massive massive issue is the defending of corners for me. We constantly make the same mistakes over and over. We look like losing a goal every single time. jefte has absolutely zero spacial awareness and has no idea at what he is supposed to be doing when defending its crazy.
6.) 12 Feb 2025 11:50:08
Colonel, Rice is a ball player, if you ask me he is never going to able to hold down the 6 or 8 role that Clement asks of his central midfielders because of how much running it requires, and because how how much emphasis is place on direct play rather than passing the ball through the middle of the park. Good managers find a way to accommodate the good players they have in to the team, and they flex approach accordingly. Asking guys like Rice to play like Raskin is nonsensical. As is asking guys like Bajrami to play as a CF and work off second balls.
He is not using the players we have to the best of their abilities, all so he can keep to a rigid system that demonstrably does not work consistently enough against 10/ 11 teams we play against in domestic football. He's had 3 transfer windows and spent c£20m building a team that cannot breakdown a low block - principally because of his system of play is based around counter attacking football. If we continue with the current system of play we will be lucky to win the odd cup, and will remain miles behind in the league.
7.) 12 Feb 2025 12:22:25
I've seen a lot of threads I've disagreed with over the last few days - but this one is too of the list.
8.) 12 Feb 2025 12:23:54
Tav123, I'm told that Alex Ferguson was bemoaning Lawrence being wasted by getting pushed far too far up the pitch when we were on the ball against Lyon. I'll put more faith in his view of the system than Clement's at this time.

Sorry yo Jimbo. I can't agree but hey it's all about opinions. respect bro.
10.) 12 Feb 2025 19:08:45
It's a game of opinions Colonel! Think we all want the same thing, a successful Rangers.
31 Jan 2025 16:55:26
[As Marca] claiming Iranian side Persepolis FC have reached an agreement with Ryan Kent. As well as saying the fact that it is legal to keep crocodiles at home in Iran was a factor that convinced Kent.! ?
Sure that will please a lot of folk on here who never fancied him coming back.

This would be an interesting one. I think he a left footed right winger, so that might put paid to any chance of cerny coming back. I thought he have a lot of offers from down south given he's on a free, so would be a turn up for the books if we get him. Only negative is I think I read he'd a bit if a recent injury history.
13 Jun 2025 20:40:50
Chat was he was going to Westerlo in Belgium. Any idea if that's still happening?
13 Jun 2025 15:20:03
Mass, I think it's common for clubs to allow players agents to talk to other clubs while the two clubs also chat about potential fees etc. it speeds up the process and gives a bit of realism t the whole process.
13 Jun 2025 15:18:40
This would be good news for us. Good luck to the guy, but not what we need at the current time. If we can make £5m+ for him and reinvest it in younger players then it's a god bit of work. recouping transfer fees is a key part in helping us meeting FFP (or whatever they call it these days) . We need to get in to good habits on it - as his value will be at it's peak right now and is only going to go one way for us.
13 Jun 2025 08:47:31
Exactly right Foreverrangers. Surely we've had enough 'ball playing centre-backs' to recognise it just doesn't work up here. One of the key reasons Celtic have been so successful has been they've got an absolute rock at the back in Carter-Vickers who can stroll the physical aspects of the game up here. We've not had anyone like that for a long time.
And for those saying he's a RM style defender, my understanding is we're going to be playing a very high line, which leads me to think this guy will be sucseptible to the same long ball over the top which has undone us countless times in recent seasons. Only Balogun has been able to cope with it. We need to do the basics right and go from there, not try and force a european style to the scottish game.
16 Feb 2025 20:25:00
I didn't see any of the post match chat, but that kind of talk gives me the fear. Really felt we were outplayed for most of that game. They had now possession, more shots, more shots on target, and missed a 1-on-1. On another day we could easily depend points there (if hearts weren't so profligate) .
16 Feb 2025 13:27:03
I honestly do not understand the stick Dio gets. He's doing a good job in a really tough position to play. Almost every one we against play has 3 midfielders and we've got 2 in there. Diomande rarely gives it away, keeps the ball moving, and isn't afraid to get us up the park. Always willing to take the ball in too. I really think he's ridiculously hard done by our fans.
14 Feb 2025 17:51:15
They definitely went to London after the Ross County game. I bumped into almost all of the first team at the airport that night. Can't believe they were flying easyJet to Stansted!
No idea what they got up to when they were down there though, or when they came back. Don't think it affected the result at the weekend either, I think Clement has to take the blame for that for the tactics.
14 Feb 2025 16:32:44
Gio got us to within literally a kick of ball (be that Kent or Ramsey! ) from winning the Europa League, and that didn't seem to do him much good! Ultimately in our odd little league, success is purely relative. Any manager not winning more than the other side of town will be under pressure, and the bigger the gap in cups/ leagues the more the pressure will be.
Winning the Europa would grant him time, but if he isn't competing for the title next year then I don't think it would be enough on it's own to keep him in a job. What it would do would be guarantee us Champions League football, and that is the only was I can see us getting out of being also rans. We desperately need access tot he ridiculous £££s that comes from the CL (and ideally for them to miss out on it for a few seasons) . Money talks in this game.
14 Feb 2025 12:30:05
He's a good size, and looks quick enough across the ground. Early days, but I'm not sure he's the type that would throw his head in where it hurts (a la Katic), more of a ball playing centre back. Don't think he takes any blame for the poor result and performance at the weekend, not much he could do about that.
