The Butland comparison is nonsense though because Butland 95 out of 100 times makes the save.
Compared to Dessers who 5 out of 100 chances scores the goal.
Huge difference.

AC21, i reckon Tav will honour his contract to 2026 then retire or play 1 season down south then retire at 35.
Still one of the top goal scoring LB's in the world, crazy to think total transfer fees paid to date is only 350k.

I see Tav being with us for at least the next two seasons and possibly even for another season after that while we ease in a replacement. At the present time I do not believe that his successor is at Rangers and finding someone that brings as much as he does to the team will not be easy.
While we criticise Warburton for many things signing Tav was certainly one of the positives.

This is another time when he’s getting shot down and talked down when new manager comes in. He’s played every minute of every game since clement came in. Devines not had a sniff and sterilant has been moved into mf cause clement sees his quality but won’t drop tav for him.
He’ll see out his testimonial year as our captain and right back and then he and management will assess situations
He stated some time ago the only club he’d consider leaving for is Leeds Utd, and I feel it’s too late for him for that now.

I don't believe that this deal is as cut and dry as the Media seem to think. Caykur Rizespor is an interesting Football Club with around 15,000 supporters with an interesting history dating back to 1953. (The town of Rise where they play only has around 100,000 inhabitants and they are not a well known team.
There best known player at present is Jon Jo Shelvey who must be close to retirement!
My understanding is that negotiations are still ongoing and Rangers want a guarantee that this will be a loan to purchase an not an option to purchase. It would also include a full wage transfer and I have to believe that given the potential that Cifu showed before he moved to us we would want a sell on percentage as well.

He’s not had a run of games to be overly critical of him. Scottish Football is much quicker than most leagues and takes time and run of games to get up to speed. I think he would suit Serie A. Don’t know a great deal how the Turkish top flight is tbh but I hope we have inserted a sell on clause because he could end up a decent player in future.
I think it makes sense to off load him though just don’t think he was a dud or great the jury was still very much out on him for me.

I was watching a video earlier on X of Ryan Christie’s form this season. For Bournemouth.
He’s been playing really well for them, his biggest asset undoubtedly his link up ay in the last 20-25 yards.
Also a very good dribbler and ball carrier.
He’s someone I really rate and he’s having a cracking season.
Would he be a good shout for us in the summer as his home trained criteria would be a huge added bonus for us, on til of his undoubted talent.
We’re going to potentially lose sima, Cortez, silva from the attack positions aswell as Roofe Hagi maybe Scott wright maybe Matondo?

Never rated the guy anyway and I am always astonished when I read how many Scottish caps he has. John, I'll paint the full picture mate. 36 games 14 goals, let's stop putting his assists beside his goals, to try tart it up a bit, as he isn't even 1 in 2 ATM. We paid nearly 6 million for him, the very least we should expect is 1 in 2 if truth be told, but would honestly expect more. Listen I'm right behind dessers but maybe save talking about him that way until he is actually ripping it up he has a long way to go.
