I always think we announce players after games because if we get beat it takes some attention away from it. Obviously not the full reason but I think there’s some of that.

You’re probably not totally wrong Blue89. It was certainly a ‘trick’ David Murray used to use in the old days prior to the transfer windows coming in. Lose a big game, ie get knocked out in Europe a cup or an Old Firm and you could almost guarantee Murray would announce some big new signing a few days later to take attention away ?. Loved it at the time… little did we know the eventual outcome of that approach mind!

Davie think the fact one of the rumoured players has been pictured at Glasgow airport proves that at least one is close? Who cares when it’s announced anyway he wouldn’t play tomorrow regardless. Get them in, proper medical make sure we aren’t signing an injured player again and announce it when it’s done.
