Not sure if any truth in this

But someone told me a few weeks ago
Their was talk about Beal meeting Alfredo about possibly coming back to us
Not sure if it was a wynde up or not

apparently Cruz Azul does not interest him
I wonder if their could be some potential of Beale being interested in bringing him back with some certain terms put in place that would only benefit us
But also benefit him if he played his best football and kept his attitude in check

He wasn't a player a particularly liked with his petulance and attitude towards our club especially when we needed him and he had made himself unavailable by certain decisions he made
Anyway could it happen?

Has anyone else heard their may have been or still could be a potential interest there if all the certain conditions were met by the player?

I think sometimes you shouldn’t go back (just look at Brenda) . I think he had his time and probably know is starting to have some regrets.

I wish him well but hope not to see him in a Rangers strip again.

I posted that someone had said that Morelos had begged to come back about a month ago, Stig. Don’t know if there was any truth in it though? Maybe John or Copland or others ITK can confirm?
Now as you know I love ?Morelos?, but the ship I feel has sailed.
Beale has invested heavily in his own forward players. What would it say about them ( and his scouting ) if he was actively trying to recruit Morelos?

His fitness and desire would have to be much improved on the last 2 seasons. Personally feel he had his chance and decided to down tools. Perhaps he's now realized the grass isn't always greener! It's a no from me, but would support a decision if made.

Stig I love Alfie and would take him back on a 1 year deal with club o Taino g the option to extend if we choose, not him. Same wages as before. No improved terms.
Give him the platform to get the move he wants for his family, which imo is Spain.
If he performs to his full ability we have one helluva striker. Better than what we’ve brought in. This is why I would take him, simply he’s better than what we have.

Beale however didn’t have much good to say about him last season, he skated his attitude, fitness commitment a few time towards end of season, I think Beale didn’t have much time for him tbh.

I can’t see it happening but I for one would certainly love him back, in a deal that suits us and not him.

I totally get where your Coming from in Beale having brought in his own players etc

But I tell you what if we managed to get a deal in place that would potentially get Alfredo firing on all cylinders for us like just coming in playing his A game without anything else involved it would certainly help us especially if we make the champs league and also would greatly help him in his next move I’m sure

As much as I complained about him when certain things happened I didn’t agree with or like what he was doing at times

I’d be open to it to a certain degree and I wonder now knowing he’s not hot property he may come back a different player? Be humble and play to his best and help us win back a league and champions league or europa glory ?

Let’s see if anything comes of this

His behaviour and fitness problems have got around hence he struggles to get a club anywhere, if he doesn't buck up he could end up at Hearts or Aberdeen .

Wouldn’t have him back. Had his chance and despite some tremendous goals and European performances, he worked his ticket and downed tools once too often. If this is even true, he’s only want to return because no one else wants him. No room for sentiment, we’ve moved on, he needs to also.

How many managers had problems with him 3? 4? word gets around fast sadly not too fast at Ibrox sometimes, he should have been away a couple of years ago terrible attitude all anybody ever had to do was give him a wee kick and he spent the rest of the game trying to get them back, usually right in front of the ref .

I love the grumpy wee lad, and would take him back in a second. But the club would really need to protect itself with a view to making sure we're getting the right version of Alfredo back e. g. lower wages, appearance / goal bonuses being a big part of the remuneration, and a short term contract that the club can choose to extend.

I suspect none of that is particularly attractive for a player in this day and age though, and not really practical overall sadly. I'm sure someone will come in and take a punt on him on a free before too long - even if that is shortly after the transfer window has closed and club react to injuries etc.

He’s super slim super fit mate. Looks slimmer and fitter than he has for years mate. Seriously . Also always smiling when I’ve seen him aswel.
It would take him 4 weeks to be upto speed.
He’s constantly training and working out I see him on socials all the time.
If and it’s a big if, we wanted to bring him back in mate, he’d be worth the money u state not a doubt about it. He made this club more than 10x that in Europe and without him we wouldn’t have the points to qualify for this world club cup we’ve been linked to.

I wouldn’t take him back even if he begged. Cost us on one to many occasions with his attitude and petulance, on top of that he downed tools last season. Was overweight and not match fit the whole season, would take him the season to even get remotely fit again. He will fade into obscurity now and regret his decisions for a long time.

A lot of views on this, all respectable as they are differing.

An observation though in this forum. If someone who takes the time and/ or money to watch the team, and offer a genuine opinion, please think about how you respond. If someone is on the p***take, or an undercover Declan, then call it out. However above, some people who can often post credibly, really let themselves down. RaskinLoyal, an example, referring to someone you don’t agree with as “the likes of you. ” Wind your neck in, friend. DavidB, also a few of your responses lately have let you down. We’re all fans, many supporters, all want the best for Rangers. Maybe think about being kinder and save the sarcasm and shutdowns for Declans when they are published. Meant in the nicest way.

I was a huge fan of Alphie when he was focused fit and on top of his game he was a handful few defenders coukd out muscle him he created space for others won found in the final third held the ball up and he was one of the main reasons we done so well in Europe but he let himself and the club down we have replaced him time will tell if any of them are as good as Alphie in his pomp but take him back? no not for me I have some great memories of him but I have a lot of bad memories the boat has sailed for me.
