All this talk of Butland and release clauses is only to be expected as the big man has been magic. The only way that he will be sold in my opinion is if he actually wants to leave and going by how happy he is to be here performing in front of us then no way he will want to be going anywhere in this window and the board will not want him going anywhere either. If he keeps doing what he has been doing then his value will get even higher and he will be in Southgates thoughts no matter what. Super Jack will be holding up no.56 very soon.

Butland is going to carry us to the later stages of Europe and to our 56th league title . That’s worth 30 million . We can’t sell!

I think tav will go to America or Saudi in the summer and butland becomes our new captain for years to come.

Clubs will not pay megabucks for Big Jack (would love that situation) - he has a minimum buyout clause so if that is met and he agrees then its bye bye to the big guy - no matter how great he plays and we inflate his value to a greater amount in our heads his contract stands - hope he choses to stay long term but could see him moving in summer imo! I am sure PC is well aware of the situation and will have backups already in mind should that happen.
