Just back from ibrox and haven't watched the sterling challenge yet, as i hadn't a good view of it from the copland rear ? what i will say and i've seen it over the last couple of games, is that todd cantwell is starting to get back to a playing level we know this talented footballer is capable of and scoring again now ?.

Never a red. can't believe he looked at var and still called it. Cantwell getting the numbers up. 5 goals in 8 games. Great result. Warnock moaning already ??.

I thought cantwell was great again tonight, but the main man for me was Lawrence I thought his directness and linking play really took us to a new level at times. Great to see Matondo showcasing what he can do still indecisive at times but great work on the wing with ridvan at times and a great goal. For me keeping Lawrence fit and ticking will be pivotal to us charging towards 56.

Live viewing I straight away thought red card as it seemed 2 footed but once you see the replays it’s very harsh because he slips during the tackle. Can see why the ref gave red first time round can’t see why he didn’t change it.

Spot on SWS, he's looking the real deal nowadays, Red Card was a hellish decision, we'll win an appeal.

I think it was a red lunges not in control and catches boy with his full weight behind him practically of ground too

However I think the forearm smash on goldson deserved more too player wasn’t looking at the ball and clearly intended to catch goldson or impede him.

Red card for me, nowhere near the ball and took the sheep player a bit high. Very rash challenge. I can see the appeal going on though, I can even see us winning it but for me it was justified.

Guessing people saying its a red card haven't seen any replays.

Talking about catching the Dons player high is hilarious and how can he "practically" be off the ground. Actual blindness.

Sterling basically slides in, both feet on the ground and stands on the Dons players toes and the Dons player jumps up and rolls about like prime Neymar. its a disgrace. If it had been a team mate of mine he would be getting pelters and told to man up.

Caught him on the toes dtb so not that high. The challenge was a bit reckless right enough, though the fact that he slipped didn't help.

I've literally just watched it again, with a Motherwell supporter! We both agree that the red is understandable but it's likely to be overturned. I've not changed my mind though.
