Not nonsense! You are correct tjn! It’s a loyalty bonus. So say 800k over 4 year contract 200k a year. He won’t be at us for 4 years so he won’t be paid the 800k.

{Ed001's Note - sorry but it is nonsense. It is still a signing bonus and it has to be paid up. The only way he won't be paid the remaining balance will be if he agrees to waive it. Usually that only happens in the case of a club with financial difficulties.}
