Rangers have only lost one out of fifteen European ties against Portuguese opposition since 2004. Braga away we lost 1-0 but beat them over 2 legs. Porto, sporting Lisbon, benfica, maritimo have all failed to beat us. Braga have beat us once out of 4 games.

We have a real top coach.
Tactically he is top notch and defensively very well organised.
Most of our players in squad have been there and done it in Europa so we have nothing to fear.

I was trying to think about the last time we played Benfica which isn't easy when your brain is like an old rattly 2 stroke lawn mower that only fires into action sometimes. I can remember it being 3-3 in Portugal but i'm not sure if we won the group or if that result qualified us in second place. What i can remember is we finished higher than them because we scored more away goals.

Cortes hasn’t featured much either might also take time as he’s maybe one for the future.
We definitely needed a goal scorer but hard to come by at a reasonable price in Jan. the club clearly had trouble getting funds in from departures as sellable assets never went or got injured.

I returned an item I bought for my son before Xmas as it was too big, they never had the smaller size so it was a refund rather than exchange, still to this day haven’t been refunded! definitely take to rangers store rather than return to Castore!
