Lets be honest, Gerrard is still a rookie manager and could struggle at Villa, but he has a fortune to sign players, so that might see him through. Team were no longer performing with him as manager, it was time for him to go, and time for change. I am happy we are moving on. How many times did he get the tactics wrong, and the team he has built is too slow. Hopefully the new manager will get the fire going inside the players and we can play a fast attacking exciting game of football and not that boring dross we have been suffering for months under Gerrard. He used Rangers to further his managerial career that is not in doubt. I can't wait for the new manager to take his seat at the biggest club in the Universe.

Ur correct blue . The footballs been hard to watch for most of this season . We've went stale and i think SG had lost interest. I don't honestly think we would have won the league with him in charge . So hopefully get the right man in and get back to the way we were playing last year.

Gersallmylife got to agree, that tippy tappy football wasn't great to watch, possession is great when eventually it pays off with a goal. The other thing that annoyed me was that Gerrard didn't manage to resolve the issue of us continuing to loose the first goal.

Answer me this, what other rangers manager in history has played every away game in Europe and also away to Celtic with three attackers, and two full backs bombing forward? You’d call it tippy tappy, I’d call it an attacking, exciting style of football. U less you’d rather we had an Ollie mcburnie and lump high balls into the box for 90mins.

Baxter, I do t disagree that we’re not playing as well as last season but I think we were spoiled a bit last season. To go unbeaten and concede the few goals we did happens once in a lifetime. I’m talking about the style of play and formation which is the same as last season. My point was that it’s the most positive and attacking style we’ve ever played but I get that out “form” this year hasn’t been as consistent.
