Am no wanting to sound down beat but if GVB has talks with us and our transfer budget isn't ambitious enough for him he might not take the job and we left with mcinnes or someone of that standard. The board need to try best to land a top manager. And I know their hands are tied with our finances. The good thing going for us is we are top of the league clearly got best squad and still good chance in Europe its an attractive job. Fingers crossed its GVB.

That could be the only problem Banx. As you say there are plenty of big positives with the job too.
Come on Gio get it done 🇳🇱.

The compensation from Gerrard plus maybe 1 player sale of around £10m in January and the same in the summer and the motivation that if he wins the league we will get champions league money should be enough. If he has faith in himself that he can win the league then I’m sure he’ll get money to spend in the summer.

Think we should go for Niel Lennon, if we are top of the league with 9 games left and God forbid C.V. strikes again and puts a stop to remaining fixtures he has experience in successfully claiming the title, even if your nearest rivals could mathematically catch you with a few points to spare.
Then again it would be in the history books as the tainted title, so GVB will do ☺.

Or GVB might not be offered the job if he can't work within the parameters set out by Rangers.
If you rocks up and demands "x" amount for a budget then he will have wasted his own and Rangers time.

Excitement building up, new manager, semi final, and europa league cliff edge to look forward to. Meanwhile as we are not playing today am off to see how Barry Ferguson has local team Alloa playing. Fergie and Kevin Thomson a partnership in the future?

IMO I think he would accept the job even if he wasn't promised cash to burn. He has had success here as a player and is already a fans favourite. If he can be the one to give us 56 this season which could be the most important season bcos of money at steak from CL. He will be Ange's doom and rangers literal saviour. Bears to think what would happen if we don't win the league. Come on Gio, Moore progression not regression. We welcome the chase. Come home, Ibrox baby 💙.

GVB has had success bringing youngsters through and is well used to the Dutch System where it is inevitable that quality players will move on to a better league. Lampard is the same in terms of bringing young players through.
Both would want a Transfer Budget but equally I believe that GVB would be happy to trade some of our current players so long as he knew that he would be given the funds to reinvest in the team and he has a better worldwide knowledge of players than Gerrard.
The Club needs to show ambition if we want a quality manager otherwise we will end up with a loser like McInnes and no matter how much the Club try to sell the support on them it will be seen as total bull by the majority of our fans.
Wilson will want to protect his own credibility, he will not want to bring in an also ran that will be gone by the summer even if Parks hfor some absurd idea wants McInnes.

Elbuff the compensation is going to keep the lights on we need 7.5 mill to get to end of the season apparently.

Unless gvb has been living in a cave, he'll be well aware of the Gers current position. I read that his league win with feyenoord was against a backdrop of a 40 million euros debt as well!

Got to agree GVB will be well aware of clubs finances so if that was an issue, I would think he would not bothers with interview.
