I think it's clear to see a major priority this season is snapping up brilliant youth talent. There is a plan in place and in top gear right now.

In a few years you will look back to this moment and realise how important it was.

Some of the youth we have captured is class.

I expect the first team changes to come in the next two weeks as Gio starts to run his eye over the squad for final decisions.

It’s the Dave Voss master plan, look at Ajax to see where him and gio want us to be, it’s the way to go getting them at 16 cause the rich clubs scouts are generally too lazy to bother looking at theses guys, this is where we come in to nab them first.

Lithium a plan that’s been in place three years so not likely to be vos.
Also it’s jacobs who is overseeing all the moves.

Looks like Vos is seen as the man to push these lad onto becoming 1st team players maybe not his choices! I said to mates if we stopped 10 I’d take a couple season of pain to see us build something sustainable! The signings we’ve made so far in the youth excite me for the future waaay more than a Colak etc ever will!

Vos does not train our b team or academy. He is good assistant manager.

Don't know if vos or who but there seems a major shift in focus this year. Can't remember so much interest or coverage in 16 yr olds before. Exciting times ahead hopefully. Now to see if managers will be prepared to use them in the future and spend on quality not quantity.

Kaiser it was a 3 to 7 year plan of Gerrard and Wilson that was set in place when Wilson came in.

Don`t believe all the press stuff about Vos, he may help develop guys like Lowry and King in the first team but the signing of all these U18 boys is a plan put in place by Mulholland, Wilson and co.

Ws and jacobs is the key man now at that level.
Hope qpr don’t come in for him.

My son was talking to a Celtic scout on Sunday morning who told him following info- Goldson on 45k Lowry on 6k to ward of Newcastle interest
Cole McKinnon was bought a flat by Rangers to sign contract. Kamara wanted by Brighton although they cannot decide his best position. Airibo wants to return South. Morelos most likely of guys in final year to re sign. Rodgers offered Bassey to Celtic first but they declined as they thought he wasn't good enough on ball. He said the majority of Rangers signings this season will be youth and loans. He also said Rangers now have a first class youth development set up. His info on the other lot is they expect 3 to 4 new signings in next two weeks. He said Barkas is a disgrace with terrible attitude happy with big basic pay doesn't care if he plays or not.

Now now storm, people on here get snippets,
However Goldson now where near 45k
Hmrc would be all over Lowry, gift in kind

Think everyone knows joe wants south

Given we have singed 8 youths. They r already the majority
Bassey left as contract expired, hence we paid development fee.
Stunned to here we have first class youth set up, Stevie wonder could see that.

That Celtic scout knew from outset my son was a Rangers fan so went into overdrive about Rangers based on info he has picked up from Rangers scouts and other team's scouts. People involved in football always talk around 40 years ago my pal worked with a Bristol City scout when they used to raid Scotland and he knew many fellow scouts for old firm and he always spilled the beans. That has always been the scene in Scotland. The one exception I know about was the great Jimmy Bell, about 6 years ago I was working in his cousin's house and he was a big blue nose too, but complained that Jimmy never told him anything about what was happening at Rangers/ Ibrox etc, and even if he was asked how new player's were looking in training etc he would only ever give very general replies ie ok, not bad, early days etc. He never told any of his family or friends anything that was happening inside Ibrox. No wonder he was held in such high esteem by player's and management.
