I know I'm old school, but I have this dream of 4 defenders defending, 4 midfielders battling, and 2 strikers scoring. Don't know who they are, but all we have at the moment is 1 striker scoring. !

All jokes aside totally agree Scotty, that is a tried and trusted system this whole 1 up front and allow the rest of the team to effectively “float” does not work, we need structure and formation at this point to settle the team and play as a unit.

I prefer the 352 system. Can be played in the spl with our 2 wingbacks/ wingers or whatever you want call them pushing forward more and the same system against European teams with the 2 wing backs more defensively.

I totally agree guys about 442, but, wait a minute someone will be on shortly telling us that GIO doesn't play with 2 strikers, then maybe he should, because his current crap isn't working.

You have to be technically gifted with speed of thought to exploit any space all over the park. And have the confidence to go for it.

Correct ph, speed off thought is key as is sped off movement, that is the massive difference I’ve noted between europa leage and CL. Got to say I was very surprised.
