That would be a backward step, back to one dimensional boring football. He’s tactically naïve, doesn’t know how to change a game. Easy to be a manager when your teams 2 or 3 up, a good manager earns his corn when his teams getting beat.

Done a great job for us, made us respectable again, but he's finished with us, I wonder if he had the decision to make again whether he would have left us or not, that Villa job was a audition for the Liverpool job and imo he's blew his chance of becoming their manager, Ed001 as a Liverpool fan would you want Gerrard as manager?
