What's people's take on Matondo? imo he's very like sakala plenty of pace not much end product and if we get a suitable offer I'd punt him.

Agreed onewalter both erratic and lack quality on the ball nowhere near the standard we need. People want headless chickens over talented players no wonder we are where we are. Both should be sold or used in swap deals.

Both have pace too burn with the right coaching can learn more control with the ball, n become all round better players sakalas improving, n matondo will too, just needs a decent run, n confidence, both thrived on a better vibe yesterday,

In my opinion i think both could be very usful utility players n impact subs.

We battered Celtic yesterday, Sakala scored and both Sakala and Matondo gave their defence a torrid time. let's give the lads a chance. Would people rather go back to playing slow lethargic football with Hagi Kent Buff Tillman etc. 3 number 10s passing teams to death and boring fans to death. We won nothing playing that way.

If these guys are part if the plan to win 56 then it will be a long way away yet. I enjoyed yesterday but it looks like fans have completely forgot how useless most of them were for large parts of the season. To me that's vert worrying and close to madness.

Yesterday was the first time we have played that system 433 with Cantwell a false 9 which effectively was 4312 and we excelled. Maybe the old system made sakala and matondo look useless.

If you watched how we played then you would have seen that cantwell dropped behind to the number 10 position, raskin supported, jack lundstrum sat, yilmaz tav got forward and wide. Either sakala or matondo came wide to support / get in behind wide and the other stayed central. Worked a treat.

Yesterday we played to the strengths of Sakala and Matondo. Never before have we played to give sakala and matondo space to run.
