I have seen every Rangers keeper since George Niven, and loved the majority of them. I can't in all honesty see Robby McCrorie reaching the heights of Woods, Klos, Goram, McGregor etc, so my question is: should we go big and invest in a top class new goalie or should we give the lad a season (risky) to see how he pans out?

Caught in 2 minds, I did think mcrorie could save us a fortune on a new no1 . Then we could use transfer budget on outfield players. Thinking about it I’d agree Robbie is unlikely to reach the heights of the above so rangers should always be looking for better and if their is and available sign them.

Top class keeper needed, McCrorie number two next season, the boy is nowhere near ready to be number one.

give boy break, Niven Brown et al lot to live up to but boy hasn't put glove wrong yet. Plus may I say save gainst Hibs truly professional. let's wait until he truly ##### up and then solve problem. But at present there is none. Give him close season then rethink.

McCrorie is ready for first team football. The question should be is he good enough to play for Rangers? I would say that he is, but I do have some question marks in relation to his confidence. It may be worthwhile to get him out on loan outside of Scotland for at least half a season to see how he progresses. He has the ability, let's see if he has the fortitude to do it for Rangers.

I'll say again 5 clean sheets out of 6, and two games against Celtic this far without losing a goal, agree JFM, he's not a boy, he's 25 as far as I'm aware, he must be given more time to see if he can maintain his success ratio thus far.

What should have happened is this instead of this dilemma is he good enough? We don’t really know yet because he really should have been our no 1 this season a lot sooner than the last 3 games or so, then we could have a better idea, but instead of this they played mcgregor who should never have got another season, and mcgluachlin who just not good enough, so this is why we’re in this current mess of is he good enough.
