I honestly think colak will do a job for us next season he is the poacher type we need, his goal too game ratio is exceptionally good
N if sakala keepsgoing the way he's going he's turnig ito a real good player, some more experience under beal i think both these guy's will be ruthless
N like him or not sakala just keeps on turning up the goods

Sakala will never be ruthless. He’s too inconsistent to be relied on and is the type of player to get a manager sacked. None of the current squad stepped up when it mattered this season and there’s very few i would care about if we sold them. Don’t care who’s performed well when the league and 2 cups were gone. Where was this when we had something to play for? Colak is a man down when not directly fed chances so is not good enough and Sakala misses open goals from 5 yards out in cup finals and semi finals and that should not be forgiven.

David every player misses chances from 5 yards out not just sakala. Too many people blaming him for Celtic games this season when it wasn’t his fault as others played a lot worse than him.

Morelos doesn’t play for us anymore, we need to address the here and now.
Sakala is completely unreliable, a backup maybe, if someone else fancies him and thinks he’s worth 3/ 4 million I sincerely hope we take it.

Sakala should be nowhere near a starting 11 next season. Fine to keep as a backup (though I'd take any decent money offered) .
He's not a player that can be relied upon when it matters, regardless of how likeable he is. Limited (football) intelligence, his decision making is woeful and his end product is sporadic at absolute best.
He works harder than most, to his immense credit and he gets himself into some good positions. If he'd shown anything regards an ability to improve his decisions/ end product in the two seasons he'd be one to work with, but he hasn't IMO. He still makes the same mistakes now he did when he came in.
Silly runs, getting caught offside, shooting when he should pass to someone better placed, shooting from silly places (without even mentioning the quality of his shooting overall, see his 2 recently that literally went out for their inns! ), missing too many good chances, giving the ball away needlessly etc.
In tight games, we need more quality than Sakala has IMO. Someone who it doesn't matter what type of game they're having if presented with one opportunity they'll take it, it can be relied upon to make the right decision, like Cantwell against Hearts or looking back further Tillman v PSV. Sakala shoots there, every time, he never squares that for the tap in.

It was far more important than that, and I believe any striker worth his salt would have scored that.
And all this about Morelos missing sitters dosent wash and I believe he would have scored that.
But to the point a striker has to be consistent but to be successful he has to take his chances in the big games, like semis and finals.

I would argue that Sakala has been one of the few successes of the season. Also, the way he plays with enthusiasm and desire is something a few others should copy. I also feel that he has shown plenty resilience since being wrongly subbed off at the end of the Europa League Final last season. That would have been a cue for players with lesser heart to down tools. We can't sell everyone and I think he would work well with another striker a la Prso and Novo.
