Afternoon folks, I've just read on the BBC Web Page about the disgraceful insulting stuff inscribed on some of the seats in Govan West (Away End) with the number 66 scratched on them also pamphlets showing a photo of Stairway 13 and the phrase 'Stairway 13, the greatest sight that I have ever seen'. Hibs Fans should be banned from Ibrox for life, that is the most disgusting thing to have done, Rangers and Hibs have both condemned the actions of these people.

i totally agree and rangers should refuse any tickets for easter rd too irv, we don't need them in our stadium.

A large proportion of hibs fans have been like this for decades, so this is nothing new. What do you expect, when one of their most famous fans (Irvine Welsh), named the punk band he was in at the end of the 70s, Stairway 13, after the disaster in order to be "controversial"? Yip, true story guys!

Can’t be difficult to track the **** bags responsible. Either the people who were issued with the specific tickets or whoever they gave them to. If they can’t give a name, then the person issued. We have a mindless idiotic section in our da base too but this is horrific behaviour. Life bans, no further allocations and criminal proceedings. An utter disgrace.

It's a difficult one, as it's truly horrific behaviour, but i wouldn't like see the genuine Hibs fans punished for the actions of a bunch of mindless idiots.

At the time, I have no idea how the authorities go about identifying the mindless idiots to punish them - so maybe taking action against the full fan base is the only option.

If we did though, expect there to be repercussions on our fanbase.

FFS, so should rangers accept a 100% ban on away fans because if the regular nonsense carried out by a minority at every away gameS? Songs etc. get a grip. Football stadiums large or small would be absolutely dead of atmosphere if no away fans attended games. We've already seen this at both Glasgow stadium's.

genuine Hibs fans would have seen see it happening, they will know the people involved, also they will have been filming it, its up to the decent minded supporters to do the right thing.
