Lads, if we could get rid of ally (big if I know). what about jimmy calderwood as our next coach?. thoughts?.

Billy the bear

1.) We orange jimmy maybe not ideal but would certainly be better than macoist even tommy wright and alex clelland

2.) 20 May 2014 01:59:56
are you serious? Jimmy calderwood?
Get a grip man, This is Rangers your talking about,
we don't just look for an ageing gaffer who hasn't worked since being sacked by aberdeen or killie, if we need a new manager then we find the best we can get, gods sake, wot about Alex Smith or maybe Craig Brown? there's another pair of donkeys with one trophy between them, and about 2ooyr old
tommy

3.) Ronald de Boer.

Current Ajax youth team coach. that's my shout for next manager.

4.) @3 SG75 -great shout but would he come AND as importantly with these heroes of an expensive bygone age- could we afford him in our new straitened circumstances?

5.) De boer would not come with the present encumbents an d financal position he would not want scotch players either

6.) How about michael laudrup as next manager

7.) Alex mcleish would be a good shout

8.) For me it would be stuart mccall then steve clarke.

9.) 20 May 2014 14:50:51
Id like to see Neil Mccan with Gordon Durie

10.) 20 May 2014 14:50:51
Id like to see Neil Mccan with Gordon Durie

11.) Neil macann and ian murray gorson durie is doing a good job where he is if its not broke don touch

12.) Ronald De Boer? Michael Laudrup? Steve Clarke? Even McLeish is out of bounds now. this dreaming of the past when club could attract big names. (then pay heavy price) are gone! A good young manager such as Ian Murray would be a good shout. don't see what's so bad about Jimmy Calderwood. but he is one for you that hasn't been mentioned. A manager who has had success, plays good football and track record of bringing through great young players. Billy Reid.

13.) Gorden durie and neil mccan would be my choise was there not a rumour on this site about mccann coming to ibrox I say duke box cause he would know the strength and weaknesses amoung the youngsters cause let's face it he has done well with the youngsters so far and he could do a better job than ally imo

"We don't do walking away". I can think off £825, 858 reasons ally said that!. let's be honest anyone could manage the squad rangers had last season to the 3rd div title. c'mon ally FFS.

1.) The guy doesn't need the money he is losing respect from people by screwing the club annually for that amount, I saw 1 other quote he saved the club in their hour of need, I think the same was posted on here about green too, years ago there was a lady called viv nicolson google her and see what her motto was ps. it wasnt aye ready lol doug t. s. o
