I think it's time everyone took a step back to reality on McCoist. Manager of Glasgow Rangers it goes without doubt he is not good enough and has made many many mistakes. Us fans think we could all do better and I couldn't argue that. Ally doesn't cut it as our manager and didn't when we had the Jelavics and likes, but I take my hat off to him for putting up with the circus that has been my club for the past 3 yrs big salary or not let's be honest how many managers would have done. My hero as a player but never a manager not as long as there's a whole in my arse. Time to go now before you destroy your legendary status pls
1.) Bruce, I agree to the bulk of the content of your post but it is not necessary to have the Jelavics etc. to put together a good team playing exciting football. Especially, at the levels we have been playing.
However, I think people, like myself, should lay off the man after his comments. Namely, that he accepts the criticism of his management abilities but we should not believe he did not give his all.
2.) You will find that the majority of people have posted with criticism of his lack of managerial abilities. As far as I'm concerned his comments change nothing and that as a manager he is inept, over paid and hasn't justified even getting minimum wage for the job he has done. No matter what happens Ally will walk away from the club with pocket bulging while the fans are left with more uncertainty, a shocking football team and a very bleak future

Usual garbage from us today I'm afraid it's going to be a long painfully season with Ally in charge, fantastic poacher as he was he will never be a manager not as long as there's a hole in my arse! Black off Hutton on?? No point in having Boyd and Miller if you can't give them service. Ally has got to go down as 1 of the worst managers in our history the football he wants us to play is from the dark ages and he will be found out this year.

1.) Wholeheartedly agree, get well soon Mr McGrain. A man who represented his club and our country with class.

Didn't think things could get any worse than what I have witnessed in the last 2yrs but I was wrong, the club I love is now a laughing stock no leadership on or off the park we are no better than last year when we had to sign a complete team in the space of 2wks! The football we are attempting to play is scandalous I watched my son play this morning for his 2005 boys club and it was a far better standard than the crooks that are currently playing in a Rangers jersey they should be ashamed to pick up there wages but I doubt they will be, and as for the manager I'm afraid he is the biggest crook of all I mean £500,000 a year for what?, must be a million managers who are far better and for a fraction of his salary! I take no pleasure in my post but I can't accept anymore of the utter dross that is being served to us

Bruce I have answered a few post and put one on myself tonight hate writing negative things about the Gers, but we do need change I believe today is the big push to move Ally on
2.) Agree with you there Bongo but I'm afraid more pain is on the way in the shape of Dundee Utd I fear the young boys they have will rip us to shreds and it's only a matter of how many! It might be the result we need to finally get rid of our manager, who was a great player but is possibly the worst manager I've seen at ibrox the football we are playing is from the ice age!
3.) Mc coist showed his lack of tactical knowledge when Wallace went he moves foster to left back and brings on faure to play right back. any body else would have moved smith to left back and brought on Gallagher or SHIELS. the man is out of his depth, we need somebody with a football brain to take us on. daly touched ball seven times today

4.) Spot on there Billyboy we were screaming out for a bit of creativity and he throws on a full back! Tactics for the day were a long punt up to Daily for him to knock it down to nobody!, playing with 1 striker (who I rate but is as mobile as a post box who was clearly not fit) is I'm afraid the only tactic he knows was food and drink to the raith defence it's was clear to see after 5mins that it was never going to work!
5.) If and its only if smith was playing it should be left back wi wallace forward we get nothing down the left now with allys tactics wallace cannae run at at the opposition wi some body infront of him why does nicky clark who scored for fun in 1st division way q o s not get arun he is a bit raw but he has more mobility than any of the rest see to be honest I don't know why we post because no amount of flack the macoist ges makes any difference he still stands wi arms folded the changes he makes during the games baffle me if the power brokers think hey had problems selling season books before this they are about 20 on the richter scale now to be honest I am shell shocked even I did not think they could be as bad I hate losing at anytime but this has reached a new level even for macoist

Charlie Telfer, we're is he?? Your having a laugh! As much as it sticks in my throat he's at a proper club that's run correctly. Rangers are a million miles behind utd both on and of the park! Any young player with ambition should get out of ibrox. Stop living in the past and face facts we are a shambles from top to bottom!
Don't blame the UOF for the shambles our club is in! Look no further than the spivs who will only depart when ibrox is sold for housing!
Les, what players do we have that are worth any money? We couldn't give them away! McLeod is all we have that any half decent scout or club would give a second glance to. Do you not think that all clubs have already been notified that a bargain basement sale is on?
