Apparently we're looking at bringing in Jason Cummings and Graham Dorrans it will cost 2.5 million though to bring both of them to Ibrox.

I'm sure I'm not in the majority with this, but I'm not too keen on Dorrans.
Norwich fans want rid of him, he's one of these midfielders that sit and can only play a sideways pass, not too sure he'd fit in with our attacking playing style.
He done really well earlier in his career but seems to have fallen off in recent years, if we can get the old Graham Dorrans then I'd be thrilled but I'm just not keen on the player he has been for the last couple of years or so.

I think we will pay for Cummings but £1.5 million for Dorrans? Not a chance. We have Rossiter signed, Matt Crooks signed and Barton is now the priority signing. With Holt, Halliday, potentially Dom ball and others I don't think it'll happen. Also, I think Harry Forrester will make that position his next year. He style is unique, one of the few players with the confidence to play direct and run with ball at his feet in the middle of the park.

Dorrans is a free transfer. Was released yesterday by Norwich. Cummings reportedly is a deal around £750k.

I wouldn't want dorrans he was a good player never rangers quality in my eyes and I wouldn't pay anything for him if he was a free agent i'd take him for back up but not a first team player for me.

some fans on here need a reality check with "rangers quality" players, first Hanley wasn't rangers quality but he gets a game for Blackburn week in week out in the championship. now dorrans isn't rangers quality when he's played in the premier league the last 5 years with west brom and Norwich. Who is rangers quality?

my opinion supremario I think we have better than dorrans already at rangers and don't think he would do a lot to improve our first team. the last two seasons he has been well below standard mate but that's just from what I've watched. Just because you play in the epl doesn't automatically make you a good player there are tons of epl players I wouldn't take and if u think any epl player is good enough for rangers then you are the one that needs a reality check mate.

you're more than entitled to your own opinion mate as I am to mine and I don't think we have any midfielders better than Dorran's, Also I completely agree that just because they play in the SPL doesn't make them good, there's a lot of average players there too but with him having SPL experience and being a regular for Scotland the last few years I wouldn't say no to him and I wouldn't say he's not rangers quality.

Rumours going about that Rangers could make an offer for Matt Ritchie of Bournemouth, he's only 25 and Rangers do need strengthening in midfield and he can also play right wing but I think its a long shot as he is going to be would be turning down the chance of playing premier league football.

I think Allan would be a key signing for us. Would be a battle to get him but, as some guys have said, money talks. And with him entering the last year of his contract Leeane Demister will not want him to go for nowt. The only fly in the ointment would be Celtic getting involved and pushing the price up. If we can afford him I think he would make such a difference to the team. Pity Ally let him slip through his fingers in the first place

Agree Noddy it is a pity Ally didn't take a risk on him but remember Hibs have got to sell season tickets too. In spite of the Hibee who comes on here Gardner I think it is (unless he is really Ally)and claims they wouldn't really miss him I think a straw poll of Hibs fans would confirm him as about their best player.
I also think he will be the biggest fee paid for ages and will end up at Ibrox because we need a midfield and he would be a good starter for ten.

I think Gardner is deluding himself if he thinks his club will not miss him. Allan was quite clearly their best player last season and him moving, especially to us, would seriously damage Hibs' chances as well as their morale. I also liked the boy Cummings but from what I hear about him, he has some off field issues. Might be more trouble than he's worth

gardner here guys what I said was 1 player doesn't make a team yes he's a great player but we have a better one in Aiden Nesbit just waiting to step in think one off your bears said he was world class he's far from that. From what i'm being told from E.R he's going no where this season and Stubbs would refer to lose him for free after his year contract is up but if the rumours are true that rangers are going to put in a bid for £1m that may change we will have to wait and see guys but if I was at hibs I would be doubtful that rangers could afford that out right.

Aye fair play to you Gardner. Cannot see Rangers paying a £1million for anyone especially a supporter they could have snapped up for nothing a year ago but for the genius that was Ally. Will look out for Nesbit this year. Like Noddy I also like the lad Cummings- speedy with a bit of strength and attitude about him. Have you forgiven him yet for some of the misses in the playoffs?

Heard rumours going about that Rangers are interested in Hearts winger Jamie Walker, would be a great addition as he is young and has great ability also has there been any news lately on Haris Vuckic

I wouldn't take vuckic. He looked good AT TIMES last season playing with a bunch of amateurs and because of his lack of pace he can easily be marked out the game. There are good aspects of his game but there is better out there to spend wages on.

You are spot on, if a player can't step up to the plate and standout aginst the 2nd worst team in the SPFL then why would we be interested? He has a clever left foot and is a good passer but he is very predictable and chronically slow. Warburton likes pace in his players eg Wilson so there is zero chance we will sign Vuckic, Allan looked a much more accomplished player in a losing Hibs side.
On the other hand I personally would take Jamie Walker ahead of our other recent rumoured interest Dallas. He is a very fast and tricky p;ayer good on the ball and a very good shot on him too. Can't see Hearts letting him go to us though or him wanting to either, Wilson was a lucky situation timing wise can't see that happening twice.

Saw in the evening times that Vladimir Weiss would fancy coming back to Rangers once the world cup qualifiers have ended all I can say in the matter is that I would get him back in a heartbeat, great player.

heard from a few people that Rangers could go for Jason Holt from Hearts, would be a good signing in my opinion because it gives us more options out in the wing and I think he can also play up front, might face competition thoug because Sheff Utd are also interested as he did well with them on loan scoring 5 goals in 15 appearances.

People may disagree with this but I think we should maybe look at bringing in Michael O'Halloran of St Johnstone in January I saw him last night in the league cup at Ibrox and his pace really ripped us to shreads and he can also score goals. I think he would be a great asset to us as his pace would cause a lot of teams bother.
