I just think £400,000 is well over for someone in their last year where we can get him free in Jan if he still interested!
On the other hand if he had 3 year left he'd probably be around 2m
So £400,000 is what Rangers need to offer if rejected I'd leave it to Jan, even better just don't bid again

They have said they will not sell to rangers it's not a case of coming in at £400k it's the fact there our biggest threat this season so they will refuse again and if he doesn't go just now to any one else then he will sign a preaseson and join in June

I don't see why we would wade in with anything more than han we have did. £400k for a Championship player who can sign a pre- contract in 4mths that would be totally mental. I would love to see Allan at Ibrox but Rangers should not give our nearest rivals any money! Hibs board worried about a fans reaction is they sold Allan! I agree. Wait till January and if Hibs don't give us permission to talk to SA then, that's fine. I'm sure some kind of a 'gentleman's agreement can be reached - off the record!
