If Shankland won't be at Rangers next season, then that is a real shame. Lawrence Shankland is head and shoulders better than what we currently, it's not even close.

With 1 player already set for next season any chance of a Sima deal is slim deal for Sima and the Columbian lad maybe be determined by how much further we can get in Europa League and winning the league and possibly other players at the club renewing contracts as according to Rangers Review budget will drop by £10m next season due to FFP and what ever the club can do without breaching it.

What can I say there’s a real excitement with transfers now. Not just going for English league players. Some of the names I have seen from that January window where very promising and did build a lot of excitement for me.

If we activate the 2 loan to buy options plus looks like we could be interested in another year loan for fabio and poss sima loan or buy if the price is right. We have also commitment to buying jef, then there won't be a lot of money left. Hopefully Lammers and cifu and poss hagi will be sold also think that ridvan and Davis and mcCrorie will be sold on. So with jef we will only have one left. So striker leftback goalie and poss left sided centre half needed unless we are promotingfrom within. Right wing also may need addressing if wright is moved on.

FA McKay read the article, Taylor didn`t say the budget would drop by £10million, he said that they had to find ways of addressing that pre transfers loss and they were doing that, he said that there would still be a decent transfer budget and he said there was no issue with FFP. The fact we were on the UEFA watch list TWO years ago was due to accounting alterations due to C.V.. Its bad enough that outsiders try to pick negative things out of stories without our own fans not getting it right even when the board members come out and explain where we are. We only spent about £16 million last summer, we won`t get far if we take £10million off that. I would imagine we will be trying to make Sima and Cortes permanent and of course we are obligated to buy Diomande .

I would reckon that based on the January incomings we won't know who the Club is planning to sign until the deals are more or less complete. There are a number of decent quality Bosmans available so let's wait and see.
Also, with Bennett coming onboard full time in the Summer I would not be surprised if we saw a further injection of investment funds that could have an impact on who we sign.

Because certain signings ie. like lammers and dessers haven't got going for us doesn't mean any other player that we don't know much about and clement is prepared to bring in won't make the grade for us ?How do anyone of us know for certain if clement for example was to sign dennis, mckenna etc, that these players wouldn't be good signings for us ?Players suit certain clubs and these guys could come in, hit the ground running and be superb signings for us ? I do like Clement though just so that’s clear.
And I don’t think Clement is signing all players I still think it’s mostly a club thing with targets and don’t think it’s a coincidence we signed lammers dessers Danilo all former Dutch league then we are linked with manhoff and smal two Dutch league players a bit after gio departs just like Brendan’s first few signings at Celtic were Asian ocean players after Ange left.
Think it’s a sign of how slow or scouting system works prob won’t see proper Clement signings to next season I’d expect a couple loans this window.

I think Hardie would be a great signing. He’s filled out and has the pace and athleticism that Clement seems to like. A natural finisher of course and doing it at a much higher level than the SPFL.

Not a rumour but a list I have made of players I have looked at and added to it since last January. It’s basically a wish list of players I feel like rangers should have a look at signing.
Jordan Torunarigha - 26 years old left footed centre back - plays in belt for gent.
Yorbe Vertessen - 22 years old - right footed attacker that’s been deployed across the attack mainly as playing centrally or out wide on the left side. He’s currently with Psv after a successful loan with union st gallon. Out of the list he’s definitely the most unrealistic but will still include him.
Alhassan yousef - he’s a dm and only 23. Currently with royal Antwerp and if he would only sign 1 of these players I’d pick him. Fonomilal.

First year I have ever bought the home away and third kit. Castore have improved massively over the time they have been our kit supplier and I think we should stick it out and stay with them for the coming years.
