Fulham, Leeds and Southampton are interested in this lad and he's chosen to play for Rangers? I hope your right though, smashing player.

According to a fake romano account yesterday. ?.

Fulham, Leeds, Southampton or Rangers. That should be a no brainer. He will have little chance of Trophies or European games with any of Fulham, Southampton or Leeds! I would have thought that other than Leeds we can also give a better deal financially and if he proves his worth he has the potential to move to a top English Team, not an also ran!

Sorry guys got sent a picture of a statement from Romano which has since been debunked. On holiday so a little slow to catch up with the rumours.

Both Southampton and Fullham have higher wages than Leeds financially we couldn't compare to any of those 3. The only thing we can offer is Europe and 9/ 10 if a player leaves rangers he will end up at a mid to lower half prem side. We can't exactly be down if someone chooses Prem side over us.

Every PL club could out bid us financially I’m hoping the fact that he’s a free agent means we could go that bit further in terms of wages/ signing on fee.

BB a it is a no brainer playing against Liverpool Man U many city etc… and also higher wages too. It will be hard for us to get this guy as money comes before trophies and European football these days anyway. Also in a much higher league also.

BB, money talks mate, and we can't compete with PL teams, not even close!

Very sad if teams like Fulham can outbid us and attract players ahead of us. This isn't me talking as a Rangers supporter. Fulham will be fighting for their survival in the EPL every Season, they are on a hiding every time they play one of the big boys. The chances of winning silverware is remote, (excluding a fluke result), Europe is but a dream for their Support and they don't exactly play to 50,000 every week. Southampton are not too dissimilar.

Berkshire for most it’s about money.
We talk about Europe. They get to play city United Liverpool spurs Arsenal Chelsea.
That’s what players want to test themselves against

Not plastic Livingston Kilmarnock Hamilton
Then Ross county st mirren st Johnstone
Prove themselves with a Fulham wolves Southampton they get a bigger move.

I kind of disagree here guys h will find most Scandinavian players are quite lever headed regarding there careers and don’t ever come across as money orientated even haaland chose Dortmund over a lot of bigger clubs offering more money cause he knew it was good for his career.
What we should worry about is if a German club come in for thee boy as they’re record of progressing hound players careers recently is phenomenal.
They give youth a chance and it’s successful for them on and off the pitch
I think if we can match the financial package on offer over all then he could choose us over epl and then move in 2 years.

People don’t care about silverware anymore they would rather make money and play in a higher eagle against better players week in week out.

15.) 17 Jun 2022
17 Jun 2022 15:08:52
He went to Russia when he had offers from the bundesligs and France, that was definitely money orientated.

17 Jun 2022 15:16:56
Even if you take money out the question, Playing in the prem for any side is a much better way to earn a move to a top half side than playing in Scotland ever will.

Look at all the lads that come here on loan, it's players that flopped in their championship loan the season before and they all go out and sped 3 seasons in 4th or 3rd tier in England.

It's just how it is and I hate this whole but we are Rangers. Nothing compares to playing in the premier League.

Also Stevie Haaland choose Dortmund because Raiola tried to get a 40 mill release Clause and other clubs wanted none of that. Dortmund eventually agreed on 60million.

17 Jun 2022 17:15:50
Berkshire I agree but lots of these players now have escape clauses in case of relegation. Epl is the biggest shop window even if it doesn't work out big moves still possible look at the boy at Ajax from West ham Haller.

17 Jun 2022 17:16:42
We need to be realistic on signings or take a punt on strikers from smaller leagues like we did will alfie.

17 Jun 2022 17:18:34
Am aware of the clause callamR bro but I think over the course what they paid what they got in the time he played there amd then even the profit they can’t grumble.
I do believe tho Scandinavian players aren’t as money orientated as others
Look at Larsson as an example,
Asathor?
What’s your oppinion on this mate?

21.) 17 Jun 2022
17 Jun 2022 19:33:08
I’m not sure we were even in for this lad.

Personally Stevie I look at this Bothiem and see he was wanted by lower end bundesliga sides and Italian sides but he choose Russia instead and a Russian side who's not expecting to win the league also owned by Billionaires.

Seems like it very much was a money orientated move.
