Good age and am 99% sure he is out of contract come the summer if he were to join then possibly Arfield isn't getting a new deal or we aren't paying for Tillman.

Beale Arfield has contributed more this season than some do you not think having his experience and ability is worth another 12 months? We can't afford to replace all the players out of contract so imo it's good business.

Think a massive mistake was made last yr with contact extensions
Arfield was the only elder player we should have kept mcgregor and davis should have be replaced.
Can see a big difference in team with jack and raskin in midfield with cantwell in front.
Pity we didn't sign the in August would have made a massive difference.

Arfield still contributes. Happy if he gets another year. Good servant to our club. Some defend lost causes on here and fail to support the ones who deserve it.

Arfield on reduced wages for another season is a no brainer, sets the standards, gets what it means and still contributes more goals than any other midfielder.

I would much rather keep arfield for a year and loan out wright down south to see if regular game time can improve him or even get us a decent fee.

We will be adding forward players next year that much is obvious with uncertain futures for the likes of

Kent
Morelos
Matondo
Wright

We have enough bodies in the middle of the park and have already freshened with cantwell and raskin.

Arfield is a reliable guy who's very rarely injured and is an impact player often doing well from the bench another year is not unrealistic.
