So papers are saying matondo was down at leeds. could this now mean matondo is going hence why Scott Wright played last night. I would be happier if this was the case as I prefer Wright over matondo. but still think we need an upgrade on both.

Matondo wasn’t in the European squad (due to number of none Scots and the fact he isn’t very good) . Wright was in the squad simply because he’s still here and is Scottish and as we don’t have enough Scottish (or home trained) players him being in the squad was basically a free hit. If anyone comes in for Wright he will probably also still go. Hopefully Matondo may well be going and hope it’s not just a loan.

Matondo is the signing last summer that made zero sense to me, if you think about it, you can understand wanting colak, Souttar, Ridvan, and whoever else came in but wtf scouted Matondo? Did they just look and think ? ohh he’s fast let’s get him in. By that reasoning and If that was the case Usian Bolt would have one multiple Ballon dors
And I remember MB stating he had a confidence crisis last season, don’t think Rangers is the best club for someone like that. I don’t like slaughtering the lad he seems like a nice guy! But that’s not going to win us anything! I don’t know why some red flags weren’t raised when shalke sold us a young player the bought for 8-9 million for 3.
I hated Gio as a manager playing that horse shoe stuff. I know people are not convinced yet with what we have now but for 30 minutes last night, I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, it wasn’t perfect by any means I’m no saying that but I can see what he’s trying to do. And once it sharpens up- I think we will be happy. I was really impressed with John Souttar, I liked the way the used BB. Danilo just needs to build a relationship with Dessers and Lammers. Cantwell star of the show. I like big Butland as well you can really see he’s loving it at Rangers.
I think we’ll beat Servette by a even higher margin even on there own ground, we will have a extra game in the legs at livi, plus they’ll have to come out and attack- so I think we’ll get chances. A bit like Hibs away last season.
I don’t think that team is that good. I think there lucky and savvy but that only gets you so far.

Matondo is unbelievably one of our biggest earners . getting his wages off the books wouldn't be a bad thing. Time is ticking to ship out players mentioned who have no future in the squad. It's clear to see we are still needing a couple wingers with pace.

Matondo started out at Cardiff and he's seen watching Leeds v Cardiff so maybe Cardiff want him or he's a fan, they did ok with him as a youth compen fee @ £500k so cough that up and get him back lads .

Walter, I think sometimes it takes a bit of reality, when no big teams come in for you, to make these players realise their best options are to stay where they are. Alfie's agent always seems to be the one suggesting he is sought after or that there are bids incoming. Hopefully the can both sign new contracts and get their heads focused back on playing for Rangers.

We need to see more from Kent if he signs a new deal, I think taking bonuses into account he's currently our biggest earner, some may disagree but I don't think he's worth it, imo if he's to sign a new contract it would need to be on a reduced salary.

We are supposed to be signing the Fulham Midfielder that was mutual agreed to rip up his contact with 6months remaining forget his name but Beale was interested in him when he was at QPR, cause he doesn't have a club now there's no rush but I've heard and other Rangers sites are saying we are signing him.

We’re seeing more from both now as morelos has 9 goals/ assists in the games he’s played under Beale. Which is more than kent is doing just now aswell… yes Alfie’s play might not look to great or flashy but he’s beginning to deliver again….

I have a feeling Morelos will leave. He just appointed a new agent, who has been touting him around european clubs already. Kent has more options, especially as he's getting his form back - would be surprised if he stayed too.

Just seen that Liverpool have said they will listen to offers for the young boy who was on loan to Aberdeen last year. I thought he did very well for them.
Maybe we should try to use the money Aberdeen will be given us from the sale of mccrorie to then buy the boy from Liverpool before they can?
Add another good young player to our ranks and weaken Aberdeen at the same time. plus it would be funny.
