Yeah got to agree. The midfield was better with the high press a lot more evident. The front 3 are still struggling but the football at times was good. . Your man from LA looks as tough as nuts though. It’s a win and hopefully more to come on Saturday. Thought Souter was excellent.

I was impressed with Cifuentes too mate, he looked strong as an ox, very intelligent in those few defensive moments he made very light work of winning the ball back and then composed in possession.

They need to open up at home, Jock Stein said if you put 10 dustbins in the box it's no that easy to score . The keeper saved them from being out of the tie. They can defend for sure did it with 10 men last week for 125 mins and got lucky, keeper again saved them but that won't win the tie for them.

I didn’t want Dessers at all, but he’s here and deserves a wee bit of time to adjust. According to DeBoer he’s a ‘confidence player’. Hopefully the goal gave him a boost. Let’s see how he is after 15-20 games before writing him off.

Went to bed content last night in knowing that we has managed to offload that goalscoring dud Colak who doesn't fit Beales system and replace him with players who play in better leagues across Europe who obviously DO FIT BEALES SYSTEM - . Also keep as many wingers as we can who are dire - that's a good plan. We had no game changers to bring on up front - what does that say about our buying?
I hope that come that hallowed day when everyone on that pitch works out the system that Beale wants and each player gets it - thus we WILL GEL but by then we won't be 6-9 pts behind in the league.
I sat last night willing us to go for jugular at 2-0 but at back of mind had fear in what was to come - we always seem 2 mins away from a panic or calamity - for the money that Beale has spent HE NEEDS TO MAKE THING RIGHT AND FAST or I may need to get back up my loft and look for that PANIC BUTTON.

Dessers scored a goal last night, great, but to be fair I could have scored it . He also gave away a penalty because he didn`t want the ball to hit him in the face. So, I`m not sure that his confidence will be boosted by last night and if he needs confidence to play he has come to the wrong club . One bad game and you get pelters .

guys I loved morelos, but his time as a ger is well n truly up, his attitude sucks, n he would do nothing for the confidence of any new player, he would really take us further back n divide the dressing room

he had more than one chance with us n gave up

no matter how you feel always play your best even if you're not happy

as the world is watching how you play and conduct yourself

everyone knew he was hot tempered
but in Europe when we made the final he was backing it up with his ability

season after he gained weight n showed no interest

no one will buy a player like that
