Never seen game the night not a big fan of watching friendlies anyway, how did silva play and what position?

Sharp, good movement and linked play well. Relationship with Cantwell looked promising, Lunny and Nico allowed Cantwell to play closer to him and they seemed on same wavelength.

Silva was main striker, linked well created space for others. McCrorie at fault for both goals. Ridvan had a great game. Starting 11 played well and were strong. 8 subs came on at 1-0. More open game but Copenhagen got on top.

Maybe a slightly different view from the others, : I thought he looked to have a decent touch, a bit of pace, but clearly is not a no9 which we've been needing. dropscdeep and looks to play as a 10 which I worry leaves us light up top and reliant on Dessers as a guy who would lead the line. I suppose it might work if he taking it on and bringing the wingers in to play / in behind, but I'm still on the fence (and can't see a £30m player in him yet! )

I agree that Silva looked sharper tonight, also Ridvan very good again, PC will have them defending corners at the training ground. All in all a decent result against a good team.

You would have thought we already practised defending corners, but that does not appear to be the case. What are we actually doing on training field because it is not transferring park, still the same boring short passes in middle, which does not threaten team, build up play is that slow most know what's coming &are able to defend against it.

Can see Sima getting played as a 9 if we get a left winger. Think Sima would be even better as a 9. That goal v Killie from a central 9 position was unreal.
