Yes, he is all we have at the moment (stating the obvious there), but it doesn't take away from the fact that he's not very good, and he should never be our main striker. Just because he doesn't "hide", doesn't make him any better!

Dessers will always give 100% he might not be the best goal scorer buses always available to play unlike some who are always injured or those who feigned injury. Right now I’d prefer dessers to colak and roofe to name 2.

I’ve been critical of Dessers In the past but I have to hold my hand up and admit he’s definitely a trier. He is scoring goals as well so hat off to the guy.

Fans can’t wait to have a go at him he works hard leads the line well good first touch yes his finishing is not the best but that’s down to confidence and that will come and people abusing him will not help if he wears the shirt support him that’s what we’re there for.

Some on here aren’t happy unless they hate someone. There always needs to be a player that gets kicked constantly with this lot!
Some of these kids on here would have slated Ally McCoist who missed sitters and hatfuls of chances time and time again.
Dessers for me, although frustrating will always try. Puts himself out there to be slammed and gets on with his game. Despite the sh! te still plays with a smile and DOES score.

I agree with John and I was one of dessers biggest critics at start of season but Clement has him turned around a little for me he’s working hard for the team and doing his best did he send his first three shots to the moon yesterday yes but he always trying and chasing never gives up and keeps going.
Gaining a lot of respect for player over period under Clement is he our no1 for next year no but certainly deserves squad place on work rate.

He tries hard but most would agree we won’t win the league with him as our main striker, that’s not having a go, when Danillo was fit when the manager came in Dessers was mainly a sub, would expect that to be the case if we can bring a striker in.

True blue 26 Scottish league isn’t the easiest to adjust to certainly coming from Italy where you have time on the ball. No surprise that both him and Lammers are or have struggled. Lammers is technically good and is now getting great reviews in Holland.
Players need time some more than others. This is not EA or FM!

Said earlier don’t think the manager rates Lammers and can’t guarantee him a start, hence why he is on loan, and Dessers when we get a striker in will drop to the bench.
