I don't think a striker will be signed and it leaves us hostages to fortune hoping dessers doesn't get injured or Silva can start scoring although he's not had many chances.

As the clock ticks down I’m a little concerned. PC played his cards close to his chest, but I figured he had 1 or 2 strikers that he’d go after. Maybe he did, maybe we failed. Who knows.

Whilst I hope I’m wrong I don’t see dessers winning us the title. he's not a #9. Sima is not a #9 and is out for weeks, danni was improving but now months away from being properly match sharp, silva looks classy (and has a bromance with cantwell on the go already :o) but i don’t see him as a #9.

I expect the mob will be delighted, unless something miraculous happens in the next 3h. Really don’t understand why there was focus elsewhere in the team when a CF was the only thing we really really needed… but he’s the gaffer, so onwards we march.

I agree Ted. A good striker is of the utmost Importance in any team. We haven't learned from the Gio days if the window closes without a poacher.

The club haven't let a word slip all window until something concrete is happening. I'm feeling optimistic a striker will be arriving tomorrow, its obvious to see one is needed and I'm sure Big Phil and the club are all over it and will sign off with another signing before the window slams shut.

Report on football insider saying rangers still owe 42 million in transfer payables and we are owed 26 million leaving us with a -16 million which has to be made by June.
That is why not much money being outlayed.

What period are transfers paid over, in the last 5 years we have broke about even on transfers fee. so how do we still have 16 short fall. or are the fees going further back than 5 years.
