Well done to Ukraine last night, they won well and it could have been four or five. Scotland were always going to be on a hiding to nothing with the whole of the rest of the world rooting for Ukraine! However, this is a poor Scotland team given that some of them play in the EPL. Sad too that no Rangers players in the team. In years gone by Rangers players were often the mainstay of our national team. I've never taken to Steve Clarke and time for a more charismatic person to take over, but don't who that might be though maybe a foreign coach would be the answer?

If Scotland had avoided defeat last night it would have been the best run we’ve had since the 1920s.

It would be good to see more Rangers players in the team but Clarke hasn’t many Rangers options. Gordon is better than McLaughlin. Patterson has moved on. Jack is injured. Souttar nearly came on for a nanosecond.

I'm aware of that John25 and that was sort of my point. Why aren't more home-grown players getting a chance for Rangers? As for Gordon, why not get the cheque book out and sign him? He is a class goalie.

Listen guys when we rehabilitated craig gordon back to full fitness he wanted to sign for rangers and ally mccoist wanted him but mccoist asked the board at the time to offer gordon a contract and they didn't that's what happened guys and that's from ally mccoist himself So gordon would have been our keeper if the board had offered him a deal and that's gospel fellow bears .
