Guys an absolutely fantastic insight into our academy and bteam by Craig Mullholland

On rangers rabble, the stuff re loans is really informative. Wonder who the b team boy is who's going on loan to Holland.
Will watch that one with great interest.

Whoever it is John it will be one hell of a experience for him, that b team is going to be interesting to watch next season with so much young talent signed recently.

Great insight @john25

Of all the things we are doing well at the moment as a club, I am most excited about our youth system and that path to the first team

Genuinely think this will become the conveyor belt we always hoped it would be.

Great watch John. Thought Craig Mulholland comes across very well. Looks like a man who is enjoying his job.
Interesting the changes Brexit has brought. Now seeing double/ treble number of scouts from around uk at our youth matches.
Think it was you that said we are aiming for 8-10 players to come through academy to first team over next few years. Seems like a reality which is great for the club on so many levels.

Its the Ajax model and the best way imo ?The rangers B team players can see a clear pathway to the rangers first team and if they have the talent and the mindset to step up, then they'll get their chance?
Then the conveyor belt is in operation as we then by player trade, sell on our best players who perform to a high standard in our first team and the next young player comes through to take his place and so on? It's the way and terrific to see our youth players making it in the rangers first team ?I'm delighted this is the model/ way our club is doing things now ?.

I watched the podcast after reading your comments here John, it was really interesting hearing what Craig Mulholland had to say and it's encouraging to hear that there us some really exciting talent coming up through the lower age groups. The future looks very bright for us with some of these young lads but, I do worry that the English clubs will poach the creme de la crime from our academy because of the issues with Brexit.

Agree with all you guys, we seem to be sweeping up some top youth talent, but I like that it's the age where they're about to break through, only really takes one to make it big to be worthwhile but IMO looks like we could have several. Great days ahead.

Just watched the video also lying on the beach in Spain.
Really good listen and good to see the academy process and the structure behind it.
If we get it right then hopefully we can get a player breaking in to become a first team regular every few years.
Sell high and replace from academy.
