Club noticeably beginning to show returns on youth/ transfer/ development policy and that's where development/ income will continue to come. Read someone talk tax. That will only come into place in transfers over certain amount say Bassey and 20 per cent at that. Some on here already go Bassey and others deals cash squandered. Gio will minimum be given 30m to get us regular CL football.

Still think we need another 2/ 3 forward players in this window including the very likely signing of Rabbi Matonda
As a squad we don’t yet have that balance in the forward positions
Defensively/ Midfield we are looking good with the addition of a real number 10 - Angelo Fulgini (maybe) and the emergence of Lowry as cover
Colak from the small amount of time on the park against Sunderland, holds the ball in very well
Itten given the same balls to feet rarely held it in at all, so a real upgrade in my opinion and the reason we went for experience over youth
Being a striker myself, it took a lot of years to really master how to hold the ball up, blocking the defenders and bringing others into play

If matondo is signed would expect lawrence amd lowry to fill the number 10 role.

I’m the opposite I feel we are now, if sign rabbi and the French lad, going to be too heavy in forward positions unless we move the likes of Scott wright and hagi on. It’s just my take on it but 2 for each position with a spare striker a spare centre mid and a spare GK is geanerally the numbers u look for in a squad.

For me when everyone’s fit he doesn’t play and an easy out
I am hoping for a Marquee signing to follow his and others departures regardless if we get in champs league or not.

Early pre season is for mins in the legs and working out who plays where and with who
Let’s reserve judgement until we get all our first readers on the pitch for longer than 45 mins.
