At the end of last season I thought we could sell Kamara and it was would make no difference, but he looks be back too his best like his 55 season, and your are spot on sws we are well covered in that area but hopefully he stays for this season, but if their is a 12m release on his fee I think we could invest about 6/ 8m on his replacement and gvb will have better players out their lined up.

My concern here is that we have an unsettled team:

It showed yesterday. Players coming into team late, players still injured, players constantly having rumours around them. It’s not good when the season has started and CL qualification yet to start!

Kamara, I feel will want to go if EPL club links are true.

Which will be a shame as he is in solid form. No coincidence as it appears his agent is pushing hard for a move.

A solid player will be needed if he goes, that would be Oralu for me. Goal scoring technical and strong player. Would be great to see him eventually with Hagi.

Ok OT do you not think lundstram, jack and sands can play in the area kamara does ?I don't want possibly 2 or 3 defensive midfielders playing against the so called smaller teams ?Look how better we looked in the second half yesterday, when big tillman came on?A very direct attacking midfielder ?.

Kamara is ideal if we were to set up like Gerard did, however he doesn't quite fit in to Gios midfield three.

I imagine we'd have a replacement lined up before we'd even consider letting Kamara go and that the replacement would be a more forward thinking midfielder.

Correct storm. Walter your mentioning jack as if he is permanently available. You can't count on him to play more than 20 games a season in a 50 to 60 game season. Kamara and lundstrum best midfielders at the club in my eyes, and that's properly taking everything into account, not just who I think is a better player ?‍♂️.

I definitely didn't under rate kamara said at the time of his signing he would be the best of the three (Davis, Defoe, kamara) and that he would make us good money on the other end of his rangers career too. this is the way. He has been a great servant and only signed to allow us a fee so I wish him all the best and I'm sure him being touted is also with the clubs blessing.

If Kamara goes then I would expect him to be replaced with someone better than the current alternatives to him. Jack has his injury problems and I don't believe that Davis is a 90 minute player any more.

I also feel Davies has a fight on his hands, Sands played very well when he came on, don't think Soutter can play lcb, maybe after a good few games but not just now.

Kamara is far more mobile than Jack, covers a hell of ground, and breaks up the opposition.
Cool on the ball and wins tackles.
Imo, hecwill be hard to replace.

I think it would be a poor decision to move GK on. He is a consistent big game player. I honestly think he is in the top 3 best players at ibrox. Would be a tough loss even if it was for a large profit.

Gvb I agree sands played well but he has to show more if we are to pay millions for him. Can't remember how much the option was for but I'm sure it's quite a large sum for someone who has been an average squad player so far. he does look very composed though and USA to Scotland probably quite a steep learning curve.
