Do we still drop into Europa if Servette put us out?
I cannot see us qualifying. Not after Saturday.

I believe we do. The only difference, to my knowledge, between getting eliminated at this stage or after the next round is that we won’t get the €5m parachute payment if Servette serve it up and knock us out.

Celtic aren't playing Servette John bhoy. Rangers are guaranteed europa league group football regardless of the Servette result.

Yes we are already automatically in the group stage of the Europa, even if we go out in this round. Let’s not panic just yet though folks. Let’s see how tonight goes first (although I have to say, no matter what happens tonight, PSV looked really good last night☹️)

You would think that some of these players have come to Rangers because of the chance to play European football, so putting Kilmarnock and the plastic pitch aside, I’d imagine that they will be wanting to put on a performance tonight and really show what they are capable of. This servette side are awkward opponents, and if we gift them goals. They’ll put us out.

I’m going to be watching who we start with fear. Danilo needs to start as does Cantwell. If we don’t start Danilo then what was the point in buying him, Danilo had a full pre season, scored goals from open play. Not many of our guys in preseason did that except Lammers. Could end up alienating Danilo who came to play. He could have stayed we’re he was and played CL football.

If we don’t start our best players then we’re just making life harder for our selfs. We’re not good enough yet to be mucking around.

No Lunny either, this is not a game that needs him, we need to play at pace to create space. That’s one thing I do not associate with big John Lunny.

I agree with cammy we will beat servette and if we don't we don't deserve any kind of European football. Psv on other hand is a tricky tie I would say we are kinda on same par as them.

No typo Mols, my understanding is that a team that gets eliminated in the UCL playoff round (next round after Servette) gets a €5m compensation payment.

Kingandulster did you see psv the other night? There’s no way we are on a par with them at the moment…. if anything we’re well behind them at this stage. They were on fire against sturm Graz. free flowing attacking football at pace. Although I do believe we will come good ( unlike the panty wetters after one defeat! ) think if we get past servette then the psv game is a few weeks too soon for us as we’re still finding our feet as a new group. Pic looked really strong last night.
