Dessers shouldn’t start he’s been rubbish. Fine he’s not up to speed yet and needs time but this isn’t a game to play someone who’s not 100%. Play him at the weekend in the cup not today.

I think Dessers is getting better every game, and you can already see he has good understanding with Danilo.
Both should play every game if fit.

I agree with David, its not about supporting the player its about supporting the team . Tonight we are likely to be playing on the break and Dessers lack of pace and sharpness would be a hinderance tonight. Danilo and possibly Sima as front two to give us some legs. This will also allow Danilo to play more central which suits him best. I don`t really rate Sima either but at least he is mobile.

Supporting and backing a player is one thing but playing someone who isn’t fit in our biggest game of the season so far is stupidity. Difference between him and all of the ones you’ve mentioned is that they’re actually playing to an acceptable standard. Dessers isn’t and we looked miles better without him at the weekend.

I agree Blue, picked my team and realised there was no Cantwell. Beales team is a decent shout.

Really good to have competition for places and not have players coasting like we have had over last couple of years.

Borna is a good example, knows he needs to up game otherwise Ridvan will take his place. Has looked more aggressive last couple of games which is when he is at his best.

I would go same team Beale mate. We will need Jacko in there tonight for extra cover. And playing this way gives us that. Hopefully we can dominate the midfield.

Also allows Cantwell to go into a more advanced position which will only benefit the two up top.

Lammers and Sima good options of the bench. Think Dowell will play a part aswell at some point.

I’m not saying he is rubbish I’m saying he has been rubbish there’s a difference. I accept that he needs to get up to speed and that’s fine but I don’t think players in that situation should start in games as important as this. Fruit I think your team is what I’d go with as well.
