I see Charles Greene has surfaced again to make some allegations regarding coming back as mike Ashley, s man on the board, also the new board are still having to use Ashley's money as we according to him do not have funds of our own and other such statements I for one would like the present board to issue a statement regarding these comments and hopefully put an end to this con mans rants .

If that man was a chocolate bar he would eat himself, i'd take what he says with a pinch of salt, I don't even listen to what comes out of his mouth. If I wanted to hear from an person i'd fart.

2.) 23 Mar 2015 13:41:18
This is the same guy who lay in his sick bed and said (alot of people don't like Mike ashley I don't like Mike ashley) why would you be representing him on the board charlie boy this guy talks a lot of celery don't listen to a word that comes out his mouth

3.) 23 Mar 2015 14:37:13
Blj ---- you wanted a statement from the board??? Right on time my fellow bear your request is answered --- no mucking around with this board. The Three Bears have put up a £1.5m loan and NO interest fees will be charged and the loans will be on an UNSECURED basis. That is TRUE BLUE.

Further to the above the company has also announced that it has ceased the process of satisfying the conditions of drawdown of the second tranche of the facility with Sports Direct and its associated companies.

Matters proceeding in an orderly and regimented way ---- matters on the playing field improving ----- that's what Dave King and his board promised

4.) 23 Mar 2015 14:47:20
Why another loan? Where is the £30m investment from King?

5.) 23 Mar 2015 15:06:05
The £5million loan from Cashley was rejected by the board and an unsecured loan of £1.5 million has been agreed from the 3 Bears. No interest. This is a brilliant deal for Rangers. There will definitely be further investment.
All will be evident in the near future enquiries and uptakes of next seasons tickets already well under way and larger crowds already. I am 100% optimistic, for the first time in years I am feeling a wee spring in my step. Its a long road but we are on the correct path.

6.) 23 Mar 2015 15:52:01
I wish I could share your optimism. I would've thought we were past having to borrow money to cover the wages. I'm surprised that King hasn't invested. We are still relying on loans rather than investment. It doesn't fill me with confidence. Also, for as long as we're having to borrow money we won't be in a position to pay off Ashley which leaves him as the person pulling the strings.

7.) 23 Mar 2015 16:38:16
The previous lot had left us skint so money was required short term, there won't be any large investments until they go over the books with a fine tooth comb. The statement explained that Mr King won't invest until he has gone through the SFA process I think he is right, firstly it would be arrogant to walk over them and secondly the SFA need investment in Rangers so it will also be a good bargaining tool for Mr King at the hearing.

8.) 23 Mar 2015 16:38:25
Ab. Contrary to popular hearsay Cashleys will be be paid back. That I have no fear of and contracts will be investigated and re written. And yes sir I am absolutely enthusiastic.

9.) 23 Mar 2015 18:34:55
DK said he would match all, as at present hasn't put any money in, also MA terms are still the same on the £5million loanDK will be waiting to see if he's allowed on the Board. £1.5 million to get to the end of the season.Whoever it is in charge of number crunching will be appaled at the black hole that is running at a huge loss due to onerous bomb proof contracts ally's payday etc.Mr Park can see it will take many years to try get rangers financially stable & to have a team capable of competing for hounours not the quick fix the fans are expecting of 1 or 2 year.

10.) 23 Mar 2015 18:48:59
OCRSC I hope you're right. I'm sure MA will be repaid but it will be some time off. There are higher priorities. It will cost money to rewrite contracts so that won't happen. I'm afraid Ashley will still be in control for some time.

11.) 23 Mar 2015 19:33:50
It's really quite simple lads. As somebody earlier said, the cash has been put in just now to keep the club going while the board gets a chance to settle in and see what has been going on. It's interest free and unsecured ffs why the questions and negativity? Give these people a chance to sort this out. For the first time we have men in charge who have the best interests of the club at heart.

12.) 23 Mar 2015 20:52:23
Noddy, I 100% agree with your post mate, this board have to be given time to fix our wonderful football club out, some people are so impatient & very negative, guys this board now have rangers best interests at heart, that's a fact, too many 'gers fans are cup half empty people whereas I'm a cup half full person

13.) 23 Mar 2015 21:15:38
The loan was given for immediate working capital with further investment from king due in a few weeks. As per the statement.

This is exactly what we wanted I can't see why people are critical of this?

The statement clearly states king will be investing.

14.) 23 Mar 2015 22:34:34
Glass half full, half empty, I don't have either kind of outlook. I'm more factual. Let's see what we have. New manager who had stepped up training, gettig more from the team, has a few systems he is working on and has got the team ting again. New board has loaned 1.5 mil unsecured with no interest, slated previous regimes and given 2 examples of sub-standard decisions, stated king and other board members WILL invest once king has been cleared and they have fully seen the extend of the deals, have stated they will invest in all areas of the club from youth to scouting and they have even put a timescale.

For me there is no half empty the glass is full. I'm looking forward to the rest of the journey with my fellow bears!

I always hoped Rangers would be back to where we belong before my son started getting into football. He's 2 and 4 months. Was conceived when we were put into administration (Valentine's Day 2012) was born when celtic beat Barcelona and to top things of his mum and mums family have got him into celtic. (We are no longer together) please beig Rangers back before he reaches childhood lol

After reading Douglas parks interview in the record I am feeling really up for the challenge ahead I know he ( and the rest of the new board ) are saying what we all want to hear but the big difference is this time we have got men in charge who love rangers as much as the fans but the best part for me is getting the scarf back on and getting back to Ibrox .
Starting tomorrow night it does feel good
Thinking about the future now .that the vermin have gone . couldn't resist that last line

Lets all get back to Ibrox every match day full houses for all the remaining games the new board can get on with clearing up the shambles which will no doubt be awaiting them on their arrival and we the supporters can once again get back to what we do best supporting our team let's show the rest of the country that the rangers are truly back

Blj

1.) 02 Mar 2015 09:30:42
Totally agree 1 away game then 3 home games let's get the place jumping and no silly songs let's show them were back. Remember they'll be lining up to shoot us down can't wait WATP

2.) 02 Mar 2015 11:01:51
Spot on sir.

3.) 02 Mar 2015 13:52:33
And the polis are investigating sectarian songs on a train full of fans coming back from a Europa league game, wonder if that make the front page? Sounds petty but its still the truth, everything negative about rangers is reported, remember the reaction last week!

4.) 02 Mar 2015 18:41:18
Tommy you paranoid about your paranoia????!?All negative stories are due to idiotic fans & an idiotic board

02 Feb 2015 15:51:35
According to Keith Jackson of the daily record at 15. 41 their are 4 Newcastle utd players moving to rangers today check out daily record transfer ins and outs

Blj

{Ed039's Note - my understanding is SPFL rules are you can only loan 2 players from the one team at anytime)

1.) Standard temporary transfer limit is 5 per season as long as at least 1 is under 21, is my understa, HERE IS SPFL RULES TAKEN FROM THEIR WEBSITE. #60. Subject to these Regulations, the maximum permitted number of Players permitted
to be Scottish FA Registered to a Club on the basis of Standard Temporary Transfers
and Emergency Temporary Transfers combined during the period from 1st July in
any calendar year to 30th June (inclusive) in the following calendar year is five.
61. A Club shall not apply so as to have Scottish FA Registered with it more than four
Players on the basis of Development Temporary Transfers at any one time. nding CHEERS ED,

2.) If we take 5 young guys fae Newcastle no wonder we lose players like telfer, the young guys at the club will wonder what's the point if they canny get in this team.

3.) 02 Feb 2015 18:46:52
These young guys are wasting their time coming up here if it is true. They are not going to learn anything from McDowell apart from leatherin the baw up the park. The boy Vuckic is meant to be quite good, but won't be for long.Heard on Talk sport in car Killie want Boyd and Sheils allegedly.

4.) If all is true, who is dictating the team, a canny see McDowall dropping his pals unless the powers above tells him, we know llambias tried it at Newcastle and was told by kinear to do one, in which he was forced out,

5.) Its all a little too late to save this corrupt regime, we dodged a complete embarrassment yesterday because of a poor pitch and a sub par opposition. Humped by hibs, humbled by hearts, out passed by QOS and demoralized by Alloa. Announce the date for your downfall now.

Ocrsc6. how about having a sit in in your living room on the day of the egm and let the shareholders cast their votes without any (with all due respects)possible distractions that would give the disease that is our board any excuse to postpone the meeting dave king reckons we have the 50plus % to take control of the boardroom why anyone should be urging fans to be there for a protest and possible unrest is beyond me we have come to far and suffered so much to take a risk of blowing it now. we don't need the fans there we need their votes
