Gunnings deal for Sheffield fell through and rangers are leading the race to sign him. McCoist has met in person with him. However at a baby's age of 23 it is unlikely Coisty will want him at Ibrox as he is too young and his wages will be too low.

Boydy1

1.) The deal fell through because he failed the medical. Perfect signing for Ally

2.) Gunning played 31 games last season I don't believe his fitness is that bad he reportedly has a slight knee injury which will heal I think he would be a good signing and will only get better with age

3.) StEddy Hartson was " injured "as well remember.

4.) C'mon lads get a grip here, a couple of digs at ally! First, the boy telfer got offered a new deal, he said no, not ally's fault, he'll not get a game with dundee utd, so the boys himself a lost out, he'll regret it, and even if he does get a game, it's not ally's fault, he didn't want to stay with us, so bye, plain and simple as that, the kenny miller signing is total genius, cracking player, great attitude as well, in ally I trust! 🇬🇧

{Ed039's Note - whats with the GBs in all your posts?)

5.) Telfer was quite happy at ibrox until realising that mccoist was never going to play him. As for kenny miller, its just another example of everything that is wrong at rangers. I can't wait for the day mccoist leaves ibrox cause I will guarantee the football next season will be just as crap as the previous two seasons

6.) Boydy you have just taken the hump because McCoist signed Miller first. Don't worry he will be back for your and other old ones once he gets rid of some more of these pesky young uns

7.) I don't care if the football isn't great the main thing is winning and getting promotion

8.) Because it's red white and blue if am being honest! 👍

What's everyone's opinion on trying to sign Ikechi Anya? I've heard he's a gers fan and he's playing well for Scotland at the moment. I haven't heard to much from anyone about him am I missing something? think he would be a solid performer if we got back in the prem.

Boydy1

1.) 26 Mar 2015 07:16:49
Think he would be a great signing for us with plenty of pace maybe to expensive for us m8 but would love to see it.

2.) 26 Mar 2015 08:49:34
Yes boydy1, anya would be a great signing for rangers mate although we'd need to get back to the premiership to attract players of that ilk, good shout though mate!

3.) 26 Mar 2015 11:53:09
He is great wee exciting player. Nothing wrong with dreaming but it would be a huge and very pleasant surprise if he ended up at Ibrox

4.) Modern players will work for however pays the best or will further their career, we can't pay the money, so, let's build a team, let everyone know this, attract the best young talent we can find. having a squad of True blue/ never surrender/walk away dross will hold us back. do Liverpool/Man City/Chelsea even Celtic only sign life long fans?

5.) 26 Mar 2015 14:38:15
Any player with talent & wanting too progress in there career will be No where near ibrox

6.) 26 Mar 2015 19:12:14
Back to the original post anya is a direct skillful quick player that would enhance us no end and knows McCall from the national team set up would be an amazing signing

7.) 26 Mar 2015 22:41:56
Would be a great signing but he' signed a new deal recently so I reckon transfer fee would be £1m min which we don't have currently

We've been talking about a mass protest here it is.

"The Union of Fans is sickened by today's news that the board is attempting to mortgage Ibrox and Murray Park to Sports Direct. Put simply, Mr James Easdale, Mr Sandy Easdale and Mr David Somers have lied to fans and shareholders. They have engineered a situation where they are handing the most prized assets of the club to Mike Ashley despite other, better funding offers once again being on the table. Derek Llambias and Barry Leach have been appointed by Mr Ashley to ensure he grabs the remaining assets of the club. Mr Ashley and his board stooges have shown a blatant disregard for the club and the fans. John Brown could not have been more accurate when he described them as "rats".

We have been campaigning for 18 months to try to secure our stadium. It is not yet too late but the only people who can stop this now are the fans and we would ask them to do two things. First of all please come to the ground tomorrow night, 45 minutes before kick-off and stage a mass demonstration at the front door of our Ibrox home. We would ask fans not to enter the game but if they feel they have to, in order to support the team in an important game, then we would ask them to make their feelings known in the strongest possible fashion to the board.

Our strength is in numbers and acting together. It is time for the fans to make their voices heard in the strongest possible terms but we must do so together and we cannot waiver. "

1.) Its time for 3 bears and king to now show there hand and make next move and we should stay away from all games now the thought of that fat cockney fu@@ getting another red cent of our cash makes me sick

2.) 15 Jan 2015 20:11:10
Mugged off again by the bus drivers on the board. it's time someone comes out and tell us what the f@#k is going on and where the f@#k we go from here, how can all this go through on a LOAN. where the hell is King and the 3 bears?

02 Jan 2015 18:59:40
Great news about King today! I've heard that Kieran Prior will be the next to buy a considerable amount of shares.

(remember this is a rumours site, I'm obviously not 100% sure on this, just something I've heard)

Just wondering what it would take for folk to head back to Ibrox? For me it would be as soon as the 3 bears gain control of the boardroom (that's an if)

I think we should be back supporting and returning money to the club as soon as the people we can trust run it. Some of you saying it won't be enough and waiting for the football to improve are wasting your time. It won't improve unless you give your support. Get Ibrox full and jumping again and then we can move on even if that may be another year in the championship

Boydy1

1.) Everyone of us should return once board room dynamics change in order to try and help stabalise the club, football improvements will have to follow stabalisation which will only happen once board changes and all fans return

2.) Boydy mate a think your missing the point we could fill ibrox every week with 50,000 and we wouldn't see a penny invested back into team if anything that co@@ green would have another new race horse bought by us

3.) OP well said.

Just read in the record that Somers was sending Emails at 4AM Boxing Day to try and secure funds. He contacted Kennedy as well as others to underwrite the share issue.

But by the looks if it not King nor Park. Is it just the mans ego the reason for not wanting to sell to these two?!
Incredible. I'm assuming it's because both want seats on the board. ( I think)

Really want the news that he has secured another loan from Ashley to hurry up, the suspense of nearly being rescued from these frankly evil men kills me every time it happens.

The lad has been in a few scraps. He's not a murderer. I'm sure playing at ibrox and knowing what he will represent will mature him and set him straight. Definite signing.

I would believe that Rangers are paying the players ( With MA money ) and that they would be recalled if MA were to fail at the EGM. In this case I would suspect he has given a massive cancellation charge to the loan deal. Leaving King with the option to keep paying them which means DK has to cash out more on the wages or give them back and pay Ashley the cancellation fee. Isn't he a clever boy.

Didn't think the deal was to freeze out King?

Merely Ashley's ego not want to sell to King but to the Bears. I don't believe he holds the authority to tell the Bears who to/not to deal with

What does this mean then? Now they are the largest single shareholder can they force out Somers / Easdales through a egm?

The report said that the board told the BBC that they are open to investment. They will still want to do everything they can to keep control and not deal with Park or King.

Don't get your hopes up just yet!
