I hope Kenny Miller says 'NO' (I seem to like that word somehow!?) to any Scotland call-up. We need him fully fit and raring to go for us this season, especially at his age. Anyway, Gers comes first at all times.

Geo the Ger

1.) I don't think Miller will last the course anyway regardless of international commitments. I would like to see Nicky Clark get a run in the side with Boyd along side him. He needs to deliver a decent return of goals this season to prove he wasn't a one season wonder with QOS. Surely make or break time for him. I like Millers work ethics but even at his peak he was never a prolific goal scorer.

2.) 29 Jul 2014 11:06:04
I think if Kenny Miller is playing that well that gets a scotland call up while playing in league one, then I would be more than happy.

3.) Bears please believe me, this guy take his fitness and health seriously. Its his living and he knows it. The guy looks up to people like Gough as a benchmark of fitness. I have seen young players with cheap burgers and lager in there hands. I would be more concerned about them.

4.) Ocrsc agree mat anytime miller plays for rangers or scotland the guy runs his gutts out he is up for the challenges that lie ahead

Gers v Hibs in the Challenge Cup. Delighted the match is at Ibrox. It's a tough first round match. May the best team win. Anyway, who cares if you lose, 'cos it's only the Donald Duck cup!

Geo the Ger

1.) Aye and macoist is pluto

2.) Ide like rangers to win every compitition the enter and its one we will need to win cause it might be the last chance we get of winning it if we get promoted

3.) If we lose what excuse are we going to give ally,

And a question to all the head insand mob.

What will your opinion be if ally does not gain promotion, bear in mind 2nd biggest wage bill, 2nd best striker partnership. ( I say 2nd best as both miller and Boyd are in process of winding down, career wise. )

Ed how long has ally left on his contract.

{Ed039's Note - Ally has a rolling contract)

4.) Then he will need to go, think everyone knows that, including super.

Question for all the real loyal mob if ally does win promotion will you join us in the sand? Doubt it

5.) Op why did you say [who cares if YOU win ] curious

6.) Should have said who cares if YOU lose main work being YOUS

Gers fans should be very careful with this present board, 'cos they're enlisting new members far too quickly for my liking. I detect by employing this tactic, they're trying to be strong in numbers, thereby creating confusion, prior to any takeover at the AGM. The reason for this is because, in my opinion, they have something alarming to hide from within, especially, from the fans, plus the fact there is easy monies to be had at the club, while it's in turmoil. I'm a shareholder, who believes it's now time to wipe the slate clean. Start afresh. Paul Murray with Jim McColl on board, forgive the pun, would be an ideal way to start anew.

Geo the Ger

1.) Geo - have you received the notice for the AGM yet, with the resolutions that will be put to the vote (the postman doesn't reach me here)

the reason I ask is that I don't think McColl was ever going to put himself up for election to the board, if I remember the requisition for the egm and the court case for the agm

regarding the new additions, it was totally unacceptable to have only two directors running the company, especially when one of them was stockbridge,

I don't think we can doubt the credentials of Wallace and somers and I would be surprised if there wasn't some agreement between the larger shareholders before they were appointed so I expect them to be re-elected

I still can't buy it that the shareholders who have bought shares at and since the IPO, (remember 22m was raised then and many millions more have been traded since), have done this only to run the company into the ground, it makes no sense, even sandy easdale has spent a few million on his own shares, has he really done that only to make the company fail?

I am sure someone will explain it all to me

JG

2.) I haven't received anything yet. Everyone seems to have an opinion of who should be running our great club, and i'm only expressing my views also. I believe that some have been buying up shares because they know bluenoses will eventually pay for them. Paul Murray did promise the fans that he would never give up in his quest to find out whatever happened to the missing monies and who it really is, that has been running the club from within, in secrecy. Something is wrong at the core that needs to be rooted out. I hope my thoughts are wrong. watp.

3.) RiFC (copmany) now owns TRFC (club). Club owes £14m (as made loss) and this loan came from RiFC (from £22m)

only things to cover this are assets, so RIFC can own assets, and loan from club - and therefore can kill club any day it wishes.

Noone (gers fans) wants second admin or liquidation. so will pay whatever to keep club running, and this will mean 20-30% return for RIFC. but will mean (club) has high debts and no investment (from spivs) for players.

Good news. is you don't need to spend much to win scottish leauges, yet we still spent £14m??

go figure JG.

4.) Geo the Ger,
In my opinion, Rangers were a ''dripping roast'' and an easy target for being plundered. If a football licence was not available the original assets purchased would have shown them a healthy profit when sold.
However, getting the licence enabled them[ Green&co. ] to rob our club.
You must remember that some of the original investors probably did invest in good faith and are being tarred by the con men.
Any hopes that Murray's mob can do anything are gone and the continual disruptions will eventually destroy us.
The original takeover, and Duff and Phelps' involvement, must be questioned. Also, the share purchase and subsequent use of the funds raised needs clarification.
JG is correct, money is not invested to throw it away, but just as it says an investment.
Finally, in the accounts the loss was ridiculous but that was their rip-off.
The state of the the company is still sound and with the raising of cash will, if managed correctly, be a viable concern.
We must go with the majority shareholding and continue to follow our team.

5.) Angola ger - that name would lead me to believe that you may be down here in west africa,

I watch every game on RTV so if you are in the Luanda area you are welcome to come along and watch the bears

Not many visiting clubs carry a large support at the moment, thereby an opportunity has arisen for Rangers to move the away support to a blind (sorry, if offended) TV camera spot. I'm fed up seeing the empty seats within a mass of blue in that area. Pity there wasn't a seating area between the Main and Broomloan stands! My choice then, would be to try and move them to a section in the enclosure or in the top corner section of a stand. Like they say - out of sight is our delight. Hope you agree.

Geo the Ger

1.) Move the Union Bears etc to the corner of the Broomloan and Govan and put the away support where they sit. Years ago before the corners were filled in away support apart from celtic would have one section in the Broomloan.
Infact let's set new ground rules, one section for all, Celtic, should we meet, included!

2.) Aye and no doubt you'd still be looking for 7, 500 if you are fortunate enough to draw Celtic in one of the cups at Celtic Park! Have a word with yourself my man.

3.) @2 7500 definitely, at least for once your stadium might actually be full. I see the Celtic website have a feature called seat of the day, is that for loyalty at turning up all of last season and remaining empty.

4.) @3) Higher average attendance than Rangers last season so how can you justify that statement? Still clinging onto last years dodgy banter. Your patters pony mate, and more importantly it misinformed.

5.) Give the spl away fans nothing, the kicked us out

6.) 09 Jul 2013 11:23:34
@5: how many times?! Rangers weren't kicked out by anyone - the liquidation process meant they weren't in any league. The spl clubs voted not to allow you in. The only kicking out was caused by going into liquidation and that was down to Rangers.

7.) 09 Jul 2013 21:01:38
@6 so Rangers (old co) go into administration and will be liquidated is down to Rangers not White but Hearts going into administration is down to mad Vlad and not Hearts??

8.) 10 Jul 2013 14:17:40
@7: it was Whyte's company etc. so yes. He made the decisions etc. but on behalf of the club so bad decisions resulting in admin and liquidation were down to the club led by Whyte.

I've just put in my complaint to ASA, that 62 Celtic fans are impersonating village persons. 55 and still alive. watp.

Geo the Ger

1.) So you are inferring that they are the OPPOSITE to "village persons" Geo? Thanks for the compliment.

Better luck next time.

Gaz

2.) It's a dog eat dog economy Geo, which one of the bounders took your job?

3.) Oh dear Geo, had your pants pulled down by Gaz! Back to the drawing board mate.

4.) @3 are you inferring that Gaz enjoys pulling men`s pants down?

5.) @4) I dare say I've been accused of worse in here mate :)

Gaz

6.) Lol magic work gaz! I don't think they get the concept of humour, if it doesn't have undertones of sectarianism or other disgusting subjects they enjoy a good singalong about they are lost!

7.) 04 Apr 2013 21:18:07
who exactly is They m8,? I think there is only one person on this strand who is pointing in that direction TB

8.) A few facts about the div 3 winners.
alloa and livingstone have won 2.
the rangers aren't even the first team from glasgow to win it (nothing new there), in fact they're not even the first team called rangers to win it.
gretna have the best record in a season in the division.
not a lot to shout about really.

I'm delighted Gers have the 5 Newcastle players on loan, and turned down bids for Law and Shields at the close of the transfer window. We need all the help going if we want to progress in the Scottish Cup and win the Championship, and before anyone has a go at me, I know we're 16 points behind Hearts, but we are Rangers, and never ever surrender, until it's mathematically impossible in overtaking whoever!

The season hasn't started, yet we have another 'Sack Ally Brigade' member voicing off as per usual. Give it a break. If Ally can't win the Championship then and only then would I agree with you.

Nice one Colin Macdonald! There's been far too many posts slagging Gers, especially Ally. Let's get behind the team, manager, etc. , and start looking forward for a change. We're going to have a wee bit of rivalry back in the Championship with Hibs and Hearts. Bring it on!
