Apparently Middlesbrough and QPR keeping tabs on Jack simpson don’t know how there keeping tabs on him as he doesn’t play 😂.

I've still to see what Gerrard seen in him to offer him a contract until 2025?! He's been here for nearly a year, and done hee haw to break into the first team. If we can get rid of him, let him go. I know some might say I'm being unfair as he's not been given a run out, but that's rubbish. If he has been showing up well in training, going the extra mile, he would get a chance. But he's obviously not! He always looks lazy when he has played. As if he can't be arsed. He can play the ball out from defence, but I haven't seen anything else to say give him a chance. There's probably a player there, but If it is down to attitude, then he's no use to us. It's a pity as I'm sure he made an impression when he first broke through at Bournemouth, but he's never progressed from then.

I genuinely believe the only player who actually thought he would stroll it, but didn't, was Barton.
Every player who signs for Rangers should come with confidence that they're good enough to compete, so I don't see any issue with a player thinking they're going to do well. What's the point in signing players who aren't confident?!

Have we wasted money on Simpson if we sell him for a fee? What did we spend for him? It was a risk worth taking on him as he was well quoted down south and he was always going to have a resale.

I think john25 quoted Simpson on 3k a week, so even if he got signing on fee, I would imagine anything north of 200k should represent a profit, maybe not worked out but it was worth the gamble.

We signed him to play football Gers58 if Bassey never managed to slot in at CB we would've had nobody good enough. Simpson has been a terrible signing and was definitely a SG signing as he's wanted him fir 2 years.

Stories that I have heard, Simpson has found it difficult to settle which could be adversely affecting his game. Any time I saw him playing before he joined us he had a decent game.
