Story going around that Park has wished and received all his money that was owed to him. Also the Far East consortium takeover is gathering speed. I obviously don't know if there is any truth in this but that is the story going around from where I stay.

Was all the money he loaned to the club not diluted into shares. would he not need to share his shares to get his money back?

Baxterboy, douglas park ain't owed any money mate, as it was all converted into shares ?If he sells his shares to someone fair enough but be clear he's got no money owed to him from our club ?.

Didnt think hebwas owed any money? Could be wrong.

The rumour was flying around today as well where I was. If this has substance then some clarification is needed; I had thought he said that loans would be turned to shares? Was this not true or has he sold his shares?

Crap another WhatsApp rumour that will turn out to be nonsense.

SirWalter, I've heard that also but maybe he did give loans without exchanging for shares. Who exactly knows. But what I've heard is he's ready to cash in.

Let’s not be naive Park is a business man and won’t lose money what ever venture he delves into
if his buses and his money has went into Rangers football club he will have some avenue where there will be a cash flow coming back to him he doesn’t do anything for nothing and why would he he’s not got to where he is being a cash cow or giving charity
First and foremost a businessman and always will be.

Ahh! The Far East Consortium
Haven't heard that since last year or the year before or the year before that etc etc etc,

More rubbish this Asian consortium story rears its head any time there's change of manager or a problem with results total nonsense.

So what's, the story with the far east consortium?

As I've said in my post, I've no idea if there's any truth in this. I'm only passing on what I've heard. Is that OK?

The far east takeover is as fabled as the new signing at petrol stations. Douglas Park needs the board to agree to allow him to sell his shares outwith the current shareholders.

Baxterboy if he did not convert to shares it means our accounts are fraudulent.

Never far away from a conspiracy theory when we have a poor performance?

John, after years of work in the financial sector I would have expected that you should understand that accounts are just bits of paper, facts are irrelevant and opinions are how decisions are made.

There will be Soft loans for the shortfall of last year paid off. Standard I wouldn't expect them to be converted if there was money available to pay it off why pay the interest.

17.) 11 Sep 2022
11 Sep 2022 09:55:02
Park only has shares, which were paid fo with his loans.

I don’t agree with your views dk.

DK19, with your experience, your absolutely correct with that statement.

Good to know so many on this site are aware of Mr Park"s financial dealings.

21.) 11 Sep 2022
11 Sep 2022 17:07:22
John25, why would Park keep exchanging loans to shares. I would of thought the more shares that are available surely must weaken your return. DK19, your more clued up on this mate, can you share your views?

22.) 11 Sep 2022
11 Sep 2022 19:34:03
Is it not as simple as share price goes up and he then sells those shares for even more money ? seems kinda obvious.

23.) 12 Sep 2022
12 Sep 2022 07:45:43
Baxterboy, to increase his shareholding that’s why, nothing to do with return.

Shares in Rangers FC tend to remain relatively stable and pre Murray they only came on the Market occasionally and they were more of a token that supporters wanted to have than a serious investment.
I don't see this any differently now.
The only time that we will see a significant interest, (still pennies), is if there is a Serious Takeover Bid. (The recent rumour of Kyle Fox Consortium and the involvement of Paul Murray the ex Rangers Director) .
Murray by all accounts has been assisting Fox and Adrian Bevington in an attempt to acquire 75% of the Club's shares.
Strategically, overseas acquisition of Rangers, where we can benefit from our large supporter base and have the Marketing Expertise of folks in those Markets to increase our turnover could be a positive option, especially if it gave the Overseas owner an in to the UK Market for other things.
The structure of any deal could be an issue as Manchester United are finding or it could be like hitting the jackpot with owners like those of Manchester City.
Only time will tell!

Erkshireblue I'm sure man u fans said same whenever you get USA owners I'd be suspicious that they are looking for money only and not interested in team this is the danger we will have when we are in the black we will be attractive to profiteers.
